About Drunk History:
Based on the popular web series, Drunk History is the liquored-up narration of our nation's history. Host Derek Waters, along with an ever-changing cast of actors and comedians, travels across the country to present the rich tales that every city in this land has to offer. Booze helps bring out the truth. It's just that sometimes the truth is a little incoherent.

Sabella Nitti was NOT hanged- she was sentenced to hanging, but won on appeal (after being given a glamorous makeover)
Thank you!
Also thank you for being a member of the vast minority (being people who know that the past tense of to hang someone is hanged, not hung)

@@laurelsilberman5705 lynched... Wait, lynched is being hanged without a trial.
@@laurelsilberman5705 past tense of hang is hung. You didn't hanged the picture, you hung it. He wasn't hanged, he was hung.
Unless thats sarcasm and i completely missed it
19:54 i love that they actually made dancers dance to that. fookin hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
🎶 He had it comin’, he had it comin’… 🎶
“Was he murdered or deaded?” 🤣😂
just now realizing the first one is literally the plot of chicago😭😭
Well yeah that's where Chicago came from
“Chicago” was loosely based on that true-crime story.
Can we give the dancers their props
That dance bit was genius
Everyone in rhe Murderess Row sketch is excellent.
The 1st scene was hilarious! They were so outrageous & having such fun! Thoroughly enjoyed👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.
19:55 I died 😂
I cannot watch that scene without dying every single time myself!
Mae whitman is a treasure
Agreed I just picture Amity or Katara narrating this with either Luz or Aang
Her?

Who is she?
Not to be "that guy," but the legal distinction between "the testimony of a ghost" and "the testimony of a woman who said she talked to a ghost" is quite large.
i feel, the essential detail of what beverage was exactly used, to be of shamefully underestimated importance.
I LOVE this series!
Excellent Clue reference at the end there
Never realised Chicago was based on a true story.
I had not heard about a single one of these cases, but it was super interesting. :D
The musical "chicago" is based on the murderess' row story. Iirc, it was the female reporter who wrote the original show.
It’s this one for me🥴 20:37
is that Sara Rue as Mary Jane? I love her haha
Keep it up love dis
I just googled longest running broadway musical (bc so many claim to be that) and it is O! Calcutta followed by Phantom
I guess they didn't do the black dahlia cause its too famous and most people know the story. still would have been interesting
They did do black dahlia
Also, Chicago is not the longest running Broadway musical of all time... but whatevs. I understand that's not really the point of this show.
it is the longest running revival and the SECOND longest running show, so... she was almost right?
It's the longest-running *_American_* musical on Broadway.
15:33 isn't that hearsay?
sess sells lol
Mae sounds A LOT like bailey sarian holy wow
Did they bring the show back?!
I think!!
Not sure. This episode is 3 years old. Would be cool to see more though!
No mention of Roxy Hart 1926 movie??
The movie The Cats Meow?
Isn't this the movie Chicago?
Yup yup it is lol
Not revolver, Derringer!!!!
Was I the only person who had no idea Chicago was based on a true story?
Ah Ah 😂
He should’ve ended with “I’m gonna go home and sleep with my mistress”
why I'm confused?!
This show needs to come back.
It's hilarious how far face value will get you in this world. Sad but crazy hilarious.
it's how people get elected
Is Jane Levy related to Jay Levey? Wait. Is this Google?
we need another Tina Majorino and Mae Whitman movie. When a man loves a woman wasnt enough
Her?
And somehow it was still a men who made money off of the Merry Murderess stories.
❤
KATARAAAAAAA
Sooo....
Suberb dancing
I'm really bothered by the hiccups. It feels fake.
That one dude threw up pretty badly
First
Nobody cares
Please come down to the city hall in the city you are located in, we would like to present you with “The First” award.🥇
A black person on that rich guy's boat? This isn't historically accurate.
Inside every rich estate, boat, and restaurant there are black people keeping the rich people comfortable. Next time you eat at a nice restaurant ask to see the chefs. Just ask.
Black people were all over rich guys boats… granted they were the help but they were still there lol
Dude not of this is entirely accurate. Just enjoy show lol
The audacity!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow, that first story was pretty racist.
It was?
So basically you’re saying it’s historically accurate
The murderers row story??? I can see sexist but don’t see the racist aspect of it…
@@darkknight7545 Nowadays, snowflakes think everything is racist. Especially when it isn't.
I was thinking that...
Is this comedy?
Only to people with a sense of humor
👎
These two blondes are irritating.
What two blondes restaurants the first two was a very obvious redhead and a bleached blonde. She's from Arrested Development, which everyone knows
@@veggigoddessI have no idea who they are, but I only watched Arrested Development here and there and don’t recognize Mae … . No idea who Jane Levy is either. Not everyone keeps up with pop culture. And they were annoying.
the first story was interesting but the two chicks presenting it were painfully unfunny
Funny show w a great concept, why all the gratuitous pseudo bisexuality? We get it .....sheesh......c'mon maaaan.
Sorry you’re insecure about sexuality and feel the need to tell everyone
@@lolitaalmostgrown it is a little obnoxious. it usually hurts the story to paint yourself onto historical characters
@@willorn lol the wholepoint of the show is to talk about history while completely hammered, I don't think historical accuracy is the goal here
@@willorn You’re really watching the wrong show, then. Wait till the violent puking starts.
