Great video. "Flaming Pie" is my second favorite Paul McCartney and close to the heart. Back in the summer of 1997 I moved out of my mom/grandparents home, this is one of the CD's I had that wasn't pack and played it while unpacking. There two other McCartney albums you need to check out, "Chaos & Creation In the Backyard" & "Egypt Station". You will enjoyed them. Now that Marvin Gaye album cover which was released in 1981, that cover made my 12 year old mind think that God & The Devil is using us as a chess game, humans as chess pieces & the earth as the chess board. Again great video. Thanks for sharing.
so sweet to hear how Flaming Pie was with you while doing a big move, I was lucky enough to find Flaming Pie and Chaos & Creation In the Backyard at the thrift store. I remember Paul McCartney talking about the album "gypt Station" on the tonight show, and the cover, inner sleeve looked amazing, I gotta get it maybe for Christmas!
I always look forward to your videos! Combining lifestyle with music collecting. Question. Where did you purchase that vinyl display shelf over your turntable? I need one. Thanks! 😊
Oh thank you! I figured since I’m in the kitchen anyway why not film and share . I can’t remember if I got the shelf off amazon or eBay, I think Amazon .

Wow a reel to reel! That’s amazing, I almost passed on this cd at the goodwill when I found it, but something inside of me said get it- so glad I did. I am totally in my Paul McCartney phase lol
👋 HI. I live in New Zealand. Im in my sixties in age , so I spent my childhood in the 1960s. I loved the Beatles then. 1964 I was eight years young when they toured here on their world tour. I didn't see them as my father was conservative and wouldn't have sat at a concert surrounded by screaming teenage girls. I did ask him to take me. Nevermind , their music excited me , and I loved to hear them coming from the radio. Paul Mc Cartney I like very much . One of my favorite songs of his is titled My Love from 1973. Their is a good colour video on youtube of him performing the song with his wife Linda and band. From Carl.
Oh that’s so beautiful! Hi Monie - I love Wilco & Jeff Tweedy is a fascinating person. Definitely dig into that book 📖 & check out their music. I'll listen to Diamond 💎 Life by Sade anytime. She's smooth 👌. Enjoy the long weekend 😊
Here's everything I have added to my collection lately and my comment is a long one! haha. 1) AUGUST BURNS RED - Leveler, Rescue & Restore, Found In Far Away Places, Phantom Anthem (signed by the band), Guardians and Death Below. I've known about this Melodic Metalcore band for A LONG TIME, as they formed in the early 2000s and I was in High School when their first 2 albums came out in 2005 and 2007 respectively, but though I gave them a shot back then and periodically did so between then and now, I didn't click with them until recently (a few weeks ago in fact). Now, I'm utterly immersed in their discography and only need 3 more albums (Thrill Seeker, Messengers and Constellations) to mark the completion of their discography set in my collection. 2) THE SWORD - Gods Of The Earth and Apocryphon. An underrated Stoner Metal band who sadly aren't around anymore, they're one of my favourites and these additions mark the completion of their discography set (6 albums) in my collection. The band cited the likes of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Sleep, The Melvins, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Metallica, Pantera, ZZ Top (to name a few) as major influences on their sound and The Sword's frontman/rhythm guitarist John "JD" Cronise (who exclusively employed clean singing) mainly wrote lyrics revolving around Fantasy and Sci-Fi. 3) SEVERAL VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACKS A = CHAD CANNON - "GHOST OF TSUSHIMA: MUSIC FROM IKI ISLAND & LEGENDS" B = JESPER KYD - "ASSASSIN'S CREED: VALHALLA". Containing 70 tracks from most of the series (from the games Odyssey through to Syndicate, 12 mainline games), I CAN'T WAIT to listen to this when my copy arrives later in June. As I said above, this is my favourite game series and I HAD BEEN HOPING the music would be pressed on vinyl for a long time until I saw this! D = YUKA KITAMURA - "SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE" (4 LP BOX SET). I actually bought a copy of the Box Set for this Soundtrack during COVID, but it didn't arrive and I was bummed about that. However, I FINALLY got a copy of this a few weeks ago and Yuka has yet to compose anything less than masterful work! SHE'S JUST SO TALENTED and I love all the work she has done for FromSoftware's games Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring (games whose Soundtracks I also have on vinyl) The next three Soundtracks are all for the same game, but were written by two different composers: E = JASON HAYES - "WORLD OF WARCRAFT: CLASSIC", F = RUSSELL BROWER - "WORLD OF WARCRAFT: THE BURNING CRUSADE" G = RUSSELL BROWER - "WORLD OF WARCRAFT: WRATH OF THE LICH KING". World Of Warcraft is another game whose music I had long hoped would be pressed on vinyl (as I played and kept up with this game from 2004 (when it first came out) until its 6th Expansion, "Legion", in 2016) because THE MUSIC HAS CONSISTENTLY BEEN UTTERLY PHENOMENAL and I even included a song called "The Nightsong" in the Playlist for my father's funeral/Celebration Of Life in 2022! Anyway, Jason Hayes' album is the Soundtrack for THE BASE GAME, while Russell Brower's Soundtracks are for the 2nd and 3rd Expansions (The Burning Crusade and Wrath Of The Lich King respectively as mentioned). H = CAPCOM SOUND TEAM - "MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD" (6 LP BOX SET). I've had this game for a while now (Capcom being the studio behind it), but I didn't like it for the longest time because I didn't understand the gameplay/combat. However, I'm immersed in it now that I understand how it works and the music is amazing! This is a Pre-Order and the album is set to release in September. I added MORE records than just these, but this comment is long enough and I'll outline what else I added in another one.

Wow what a comment lol lots to look into ! You do need to start your channel 🤣😁 I’ve been getting more cd in the mail! So fun sharing music

I know I do. I have the name and I finished renovating/re-arranging my room the other day so that you can see my collection on camera, but man.... the re-arranging was A BIG JOB. Now, I'm shopping for a logo and something I can use as a Channel Banner.
I never saw that MG before.
Two ''Christian contemporary'' tracks I like: Hungry by Kathryn Scott(especially the version found on the UA-cam channel Dropofcrimson) and Give In by Nathan Tasker.
Wow I loved that song “Hungry” my dad would play it all the time driving to church ❤️ bringing back memories!
Hey MonieMuse Monica, enjoyed the longer form update style video. If you get 2 minutes to yourself i thought you might like to check out "Ammara" - Photograph a shoe gazy slow dreamy vibe....you may be in a different place in your life than the song. but i thought you would like the vibe / sound Brian, Charlotte NC
Thank you! I like trying out new things , I never know what’s gonna work 😁 I couldn’t find the song, was it called “dreaming”
Actually the song by John Lennon is called "#9 Dream", not "Dream". I just recently uploaded the song to my channel. Have a wonderful week.
A few purple shared that w me too, guess he really liked #9.
Dave Brubeck. Great taste. Anita O'Day & Miles Davis are my other fav Jazz albums. I've been reading a book called "Heavier Than Heaven" about Kurt Cobain..I'd recommend watching a female UA-cam channel Abigail Devoe, she's so knowledgeable about Classic Rock bands.
Oh that sounds like an interesting book! Yes someone shared Abigail channel with me and its like a history journey into these iconic bands. She puts so much work into her videos too.
We need to send Monie 1 million records so she cannot live in her house! 🤗
lol WHAT HAHA
The Sade are classics.
My parents have that same Bose !!!!
Flaming pie , John Lennon ,
Amelie , BruBeck ,
so when you find records at the goodwill there scratched or just in bad condition or your good will takes better care of their music section than my good will?
Def leppard is NOT classic rock , Ac/Dc is not classic rock!!!
Def Leppard and Ac/dc fall under hard rock?
classic Rock would be like The Moody Blues , The Animals , The Band?
but Hysteria is a great album!!!!
Do you NOT your husband but do you have Hysteria on any formats ?
Do you have any Def Leppard from 1980 up to 1991?
what do you think about that album Van Halen - Balance?
why do you suppose that Linda Ronstadt album on vinyl sells for 4.00 ? after all merchants are in business to make money why isn't that album going for 20.00 dollars?
nice Genesis ? Marvin Gaye , Sade , David Bowie heroes,
