My dads 6.6” and he fits in the back ‘relatively’ comfortably. Especially compared to the Kia Picanto and VW up which are actually more expensive in the used car market. I got mine for £10K with 25K miles. I couldn’t find anything as modern, in that price race, in the milage with that space. It’s a great car, love mine.

Great review.the swift is james may's favourite normal car for 2018 too. I am surprised no reviewer mentions the excellent visibility provided by the swift's unique upright and curved windscreen as compared to those claustrophobic ,sharply slanting windscreens you get nowadays.

Thank you for commenting. I can see why James May likes the Suzuki Swift as it was a great car to have for the week.
It did have great visibility and I loved the windscreen angle which made it a bit easier to work out where the front of the car was when negotiating tight situations.
The only thing we found was that it was a little thirsty when compared to the Kia Picanto that we have recently reviewed but that may be down to a whole host of factors like engine size, wheels and tyre sizes etc. Still a great car though and if we are in the market for a little runabout it would be up there in our choices.

@@wetryanythingchannel appreciate your reply. Good luck with the channel. I am really enjoying a 1.0 turbo swift here in Sri Lanka. Perfectly reliable over the past two years in our tough driving conditions. It is more fuel efficient than some 1.0 NA models like yaris.

Great review, I’ve owned the previous swifts and loved them. The attitude is a stunning looking little car but why they didn’t put the boosterjet on this one baffles me 🙈

Thank you for commenting and glad you liked the review. To be honest I have always liked the look of the Swift through its generations and after a week of having it I loved how it drove as it was so smooth but still fun and quiet. The only thing it lacked was a bit of punch from the engine which I am sure the boosterjet would of added and it baffles me also why they didn’t put one on there. Still a great car though.

Do you know which engine this car has? K10C or K12C…..Just want to make sure I get the right oil……

I am not sure which engine powers the 2020 Swift as it was a car I had on loan for a few days. Might be worth asking on a few forums or getting in touch with Suzuki themselves.

At first said he was 5 ft 4 , then 2 mins later said he's 5,5. Brummies must keep growing. I've heard these cars are reliable but the interior is a bit cheapo. Can't see physical buttons for the radio unit. It looks all touch screen . Hyundai give you proper knobs as well which makes easier to use

Agreed, as I feel that if it had a bit of added oomph it would certainly add a lot more fun to the driving experience.

@@wetryanythingchannel 1.0 turbo had a wonderful exhaust note that some liken to classic Porsches Plus it has great pulling power at low revs

Boosterjet ( 998cc ) is 3 cylinder , 1.2 is 4 cylinder- does that make a difference ?
