WOOOOOOWWWW!!!!! What a privilege to have Venus as a teacher. Ok, because of this, she’s my favorite tennis player ever. Do you know how humble someone has to be in order to be teaching PRICELESS CLASSES online, after having been world number one, which means you could charge whatever you want for a class?

Venus, you're so generous to do this. Years ago I was in Key Biscayne and you tapped me on the shoulder and said excuse me so you could go watch a match. I think your touch blessed my serve. I have been rooting for you every time you played. I truly believe that you can occupy courts at any tennis facility and people will fight to get your knowledge. Not to mention the added prestige to the club due to your presence. You're a legend, others do it without your credentials. Best wishes to you and warmest thanks.

@@spillominaAs I recall, Venus and Serena were champions winning majors and many other events before I ever heard the name Patrick. I didn't see what he had to offer. Hi, Venus. Excellent explanation and demonstration as usual. I would just like to see a camera angle from behind you so we could actually see the trajectory of the ball and where it lands on the service court vs the regular serve. I hope it won't be too complicated for your camera crew. Thanks so much for taking the time and giving us all the gift of knowledge. You're a great teacher.

Hi Venus - as a technical tennis coach - who coincidentally uses most of your style (I've only just found your channel), the way you describe your details is so very simple - by far the best and most effective way to show a learning player. I have always found that keeping it logical and simple is the most successful and efficient way for someone to understand and put into practise. In the UK (my country) the LTA thrive on making things ridiculously complicated and that is why the UK has virtually no decent players - our obvious successes have come from them going elsewhere for their fine tuning (Murray etc). I/we do not teach British Tennis, never have. I was brought up through the USPTR many years ago and subsequently added various european approaches. By far the best pathway. This has been more entertaining than I expected. Thank you.

I'm enjoying watching these techniques be explained by someone who has competed, (and of course succeeded), at the highest level. Very interesting to hear it from your perspective, Venus. You asked for us to tell you what we like and don't like, and I wanted to suggest some slo-motion shots during these explanation videos. I think that would help the viewer even more and give us more time to see exactly how to execute the steps. With or without slo-mo, I'm looking forward to more!

You rock Venus. Your knowledge is so impressive.
To me, the kick serve is the hardest serve for the amateur because it takes a level of athleticism that comes natural to you but not so much to club players. For me a slice serve was always the easiest and seems to be for seniors as well. I always struggled with my wrist pronation.
Thanks so much for your time and expertise.
I harken a kick serve in tennis to a hard draw in golf. A draw is a much harder shot for an amateur to hit compared to a fade because it takes another level of athleticism to turn behind the ball at the top and fully release the club through impact.
