Doesn't using these types of fittings sort of defeat the main advantages of Pex A over Pex B? That is, it reduces flow since the passthrough is smaller than the inside pipe diameter and the connection isn't always trying to tighten up like when Pex A tries to return to its original shape prior to stretching it out with the normal tool and fittings. These seems like just another type of "SharkBite" which I've only used for temporary/emergency situations, not something I'd put behind a wall or under the floor.
BTW - the best way to use the cutter is to spin while applying the cutting pressure; that better assures a straight cut.
