- Welcome to my latest video about what the F1 drivers drove to the Saudi Arabian GP - sponsored by Ridge! And note I failed to include Fernando Alonso’s Chevy Tahoe.
In this video, I will be taking you behind the scenes into the 2023 F1 drivers carpark and giving you an exclusive look at the F1 driver's road cars at the Jeddah Corniche F1 circuit.
While some F1 drivers opted for practical SUVs and 4 wheel drivers, others drove practical hatchbacks to the track. However, the nicest cars this weekend were driven by Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll. But can you guess which F1 driver decided to ditch their vehicle and walk to the track instead?

Think max was happy with a normal car. He was not well. So slow and steady might have been better
Ridge wallets are great! I hate huge, bloated wallets that make you sit crooked. These are for the modern human 😎 40% off is a great deal too
you are welcomed 😅😅
I guess you missed Fernando 😊
Just a quick aside, Lewis arrived in a Mercedes GLE 450 on race day whilst Toto and George arrived in an S-class, and none of the drivers actually drove themselves.
Quite a mystery from Lewis Hamilton saying he sold all his ICE cars in favor of electric because of the environment. Yet has no problem sitting in ICE cars and allowing the car to be ran the whole day!! Absolute hypocrite.
@@motorpolitan8884 you're a clown

4:41 we consider 2.18sar per liter expensive lmao, back in like 2014 or 2015 it used to be 0.60sar per liter which is even cheaper than water, a 330ml bottle of water is 0.50sar (the price of bottled water hasn't changed in decades)
What you do content wise is so unique and fun to watch
Why did you put Alonso on the thumbnail but didn’t mention what he drove in the video?
An editing cock up
1:41 brilliant product placement lmao
And Max's car running the spare on the right rear .... We call it the Marie Biscuit here in SA.
In this part of Canada it's a "donut".
Danny Ric will be at Australia GP as well, hope you get some pics of him!
I came early to the track on Sunday and saw a grey 7 series with F1 stickers on my way there (the car was kinda being driven recklessly)
I assumed it would just be track staff, but I had no idea that it potentially had one of the drivers in it, lol
I think the Reason RB drivers drive a Ford Taurus is because of the Ford Deal with RB and the Taurus is a very nice car and fancy
good point
They should be driving a Honda since the ford deal starts in 2026
Ford Tauruses in Saudi must be very different than in North America. The Taurus is anything but fancy here... just a plain boring sedan.
@@richardwintle1020 The new ones are from China and they are Fancy with lots of features the latest one the the new Ford Mondeo but rebadged as a Taurus
@@انا_ابراهيم_البناوي Thanks! I didn't know that.... good to learn something new.
Ford being a new big engine sponsor, the Red Bull drivers cars kinda make sense...they used to drive Hondas...their current and recent engine manufacturer.
I guess they are starting early, because Ford doesn't join until 2026.
wow Kym, where did you find the phone of the Jeep at @1:17, it was taken under the Central Coast highway overbridge next to the Sydnewy to Newcastle railway near Gosford stastion, my home town .... biggest giva-away is the double desker train, cheers, Garry from DownUnder
Gotta say: your product placements are always SMOOOOOOTH, lol!
Hi Kym!!! I’ll be going to the Miami gp where can I get more info about the meet and greet??
It will be promoted on my Insta page closer to the date.
Laredo is a trim level, the model name is Grand Cherokee. At least here in North America, not sure about in Saudi.
Not only a Ford Taurus, but a Ford Taurus with a space saving spare on the back.
Bottas drove a Stelvio, Veloce is just a more powered Version, like an in-between for standard and Quadrifoglio :)
Was eagerly waiting for this kym
martin brundle’s long lost brother
Red Bull must already be concerned about the cost cap with driving economy cars.
one of the redbull's fords had a spare on the back
1:17 Central Coast under the bridge in Gosford!
The cost cap is making an impact on what to drive to the track
Could be mistaken, but don’t think the Taurus is sold in the US these days
Correct. The ONLY car that Ford sells in 2023 is the Mustang. No more Taurus or Escort or anything else that’s not a SUV, Cuv, or truck…
Taurus’ did crack me up - puts a little dent into the “glamour” bit of F1, lol!
This new model of the Taurus isn’t actually a Taurus it’s a Mondeo rebadged into a Taurus, also they are made in China by Changan. This came when Ford bought a car manufacture there and had to partner up with a Chinese company to make their cars there.
Way to go Red Bull minding the budget cap!
Fuel price in the Netherlands being spot on
I noticed a skinny spare wheel on one of the fords at the begining of this video. Do you think the cheaper rented cars are due to the cost cap?
Hi Kym the variety of cars was a mix of sedans the Ford Taurus is an interesting one apart from the usual heavy stuff like the BMW etc.Gowra
as a f1 driver,
it would be super boss to take bus to the track
Please keep the fuel prices for each race kym
Verstappens car having it’s spare tire on is so weird. Seems like he either had a flat or the rental company rented out cars that really shouldn’t be rented to customers as these spare tires are only for emergency use to get to a mechanic.
From Civic Type Rs and NSXs to a Ford sedan with a donut spare tire.
Red Bull really love their catering don't they? lol
Red Bull isn’t playing around with the cost cap anymore 😈
Hello Kim, do you plan for George Russell signed picture? I’m in. 😊
If he says yes you’ll hear about it.
Hoping to end up at the Miami GP, any more details about the meet and greet? Cheers.
It will be promoted a couple of days prior to the weekend on my Insta page. See you there b
Does Verstappens Car have a emegeny tire on?
Kym, a couple of random questions... I stumbled upon the media guide from last year's Japanese GP and noticed them referring to "Red Zones" around the track were "press activity" is not allowed. I'm not sure about how F1 nomenclature works. Does "press" in this case refer to journalists or does it apply to photographers too? Given that the media center is divided into "press" and "photo" areas I wasn't sure if that distinction is applied to these "Red Zones" too. Also, any plans to do the Indycar GP at IMS again this year while here for Miami?
Red zones mean we can’t stand and shoot there but we can walk through. And yes I will be at the IMS for the road race
What the about the spare tyre on Max' car?!
As a s class owner in saudi that's not the price.
Lol is it on the donut spare tire?
0:40 those are chinese version of Ford Mondeo not Taurus
Love your channel, driving a Ford (Found On the Road Dead) to a circuit is not right
NEVER BEEN THIS EARLY TO A KYM VID... what do I do with my hands 😅
You can use 1 of them to hit the like button perhaps
Well done Kym good job on your video I have a question in regarding to the Las Vegas Grand Prix mate what are you doing for the weekend are you also doing meet and greets I wanna bring my group of three to meet you
Guess the cost cap is cutting in
Top 10
wheres fernando alonso ??
And in Finland you pay 2,05€ per liter
Watching your video just reminded me why i dont like them, thats right i'm not superficial or materialistic and for that i get to have a life that is not empty or pretentious...
...and they're told to lose the tire blankets. 😶
Seems like Red bull is making sure to not go over budget this year 😂
Oi! My cars brown/bronze ya "insert word here" 🤣🤣🤣 ....... Yes I added blue stripes and the SMR Racing logo but that's not the point it's mostly brown 🤣🤣🤣
What did Alonso drive?
Probably an Aston Martin
Kym You left Alonso
Imagine if Red Bull is cutting costs this way.😂😂😂
Ferrari will need that money to buy a proper strategy software lmao
Im curious, are drivers paying with their own money for a car that they rent?
Gday Kym!
G’day to you!
What the drivers drove…..an advertisement, interrupted by photos of cars and drivers!
So nobody rode a camel?
Even for a fun photo?
Red Bull can't afford more flashy cars for their drivers anymore, because of the budget cap and penalty they got.. 🤣
redbull trying to stay within budge xD
I feel like the cheaper cars the drivers show up in, the less safe the country. I could be wrong but just an assumption.
You are wrong because Saudi is a safe country
@@raghavchopra4546I mean there was a missile strike in the city in the middle of practice last year so…….
Of all the videos posted on what the drivers drove last year, Mexico and Brazil were considered to be the most dangerous for drivers with warnings about kidnappings and robberies. The teams hired private security firms and security guards to both arrange and drive the drivers in in large SUVs as opposed to them being able to drive in themselves to these tracks.
@@raghavchopra4546 about as safe as an orangutan on Xanax

You gotta do some more research before making these videos, so many discrepancies, and errors here on vehicle names, quite the low effort video.
Yaaayyyy🎉🎉🎉
These videos has gone boring lately.
Man, if you are driving a Ford you are truly scraping the bottom. No wonder the Red Bulls are so testy in the race.
They will probably have to get used to that at Red Bull...
Always interesting
