I personally prefer this version of this track compared to how it sounds on the newly released Perfectly Preserved. Amazing band, amazing works, just slighty different mixes but still sounds amazing. Korn and Love & Death fan for life
I agree. The album version is much more scooped out and compressed. The drums are different at times also.
I love the heavy breakdown towards the end of the song. That was by far my favorite part. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the new album.

IF IT EVER HAPPENS! This is the only song that has been released so far from Love and Death since the song they recorded for the Deluxe Edition of 2013's "Between the Hope and Lost" album.
@@Rawk4Life its still happening. A lot of the album is being finished during lockdown. The first single from the new spoken album was actually meant for love and death 2. I suggest checking that out to satiate your craving! ;) BTW jr playes guitar in spoken now.

and it really is crazy how good L+d turned out to be. Its amazing what postivie people a good clean living can do! The fact he has a band like korn, and his side project is this. Im positive if he focused all his time on L+d they could be Huge.

+wjveryzer7985 I actually dont prefer either, Im just saying this kind of music of obviously what brian LOVES to create and play but im sure he wants to put some separation between this and korn which is good and bad I guess. Good thing is With head back in korn, I dont worry as much as far as if korns next album will be electronic,country,dubstep. Im very confident actually that after the self titled album tour,interviews etc the next korn album will surprise people with the stuff they try. They have tried pretty much every style so now they figure why not take the style they created and expand upon it. Push it even further and take it out of the typical korn song mold which is actually what Lo lamento is. So its pretty sweet we get best of both worlds and bryan is completely satisfied as an artist because he is doing exactly what he wants to do. John davis is the only thing that worries me as over the years he really distanced himself from metal but in a recent interview he stated the recent tour really gave him that itch to go crazy heavy again.

Korn hasn't created any music worth their name in more than a decade. Take a Look in the Mirror (late 2003) was the last decent (if still flawed) studio album they made, and from there they degenerated first into the uninspired and forgettable to (worse) the near unlistenable. As someone who grew up spending hours listening to Korn's music, it gives me no particular joy to state any of this.
It's now obvious that Head always was a crucial part of their earlier guitar sound. Although he brings his own sort of flavor to it in Love and Death, he is the one still creating the kind of no-frills aggressive, angst-ridden music that I grew to love to begin with. Perhaps his style is a bit formulaic at times, but damn does he deliver.
By contrast, Korn keeps trying to make some amalgamation of aggressive and mellow work, and almost every time, it sounds like a directionless mess.
