Your comment on the importance of footwork is so important. Surprisingly there are very few vid breakdowns concentrating on footwork. Might be a content idea slowing and showing some examples of good and bad footwork at higher level play and 3.5 level. As a 3.5, my footwork is average plus at best. Every so often I just feel my feet workng smoothly and effortlessly during a game and everything, as a result, is working so much better but these times are few and far between.
I have heard that the paddle w pine tar was actually used by his practice team to improve their spin rates during practice sessions to more closely resemble pro level spin and mistakenly got inter mixed with his competition paddles.
Good info gentlemen! I just wanna make sure I understand correctly regarding the first step towards the ball: You should step with the leg closest to the direction you are moving. In doing so, point the toe towards the direction you are going. (I added the toe thing.) My best guess is that Staksrud is a German name. After World War II, many Germans migrated to Argentina. Diego Schwartzman would be another example.
Thank you! Yes, but not necessarily the toe, because you want to try to face the net, if possible. Great info on the name! You’re probably spot on with that.👍
I've been working on more deliberate/effective footwork. It's been paying off. Great content. Thanks.
Dope! Thanks for your support!
Which brand of hat are you wearing (The one with the paddles on it)?

Would be so helpful to show vs describing… a picture tells more than a 1000 words

Could we get a footwork video for some visual representation. Thanks
If there is not a rule against using substances on your paddle, why should he be punished?
You’re not wrong
😎
I have 3 legs
Guys. Great subject/content, but you need to demonstrate rather than merely try to describe.

If I had found out you hadn’t been on a mission I would’ve had to take my Mordar to get repaired.
