I love how this dance isn't the typical lyrical song with the typical lyrical choreography ( even though I do love that), it was new and interesting, she is a beautiful dancer
So happy she won!! Risky choice in song and style. Jazz dances don't usually do well at Break The Floor competitions, but it obviously worked in her favor. This dance was GENIUS!!!! It looked effortless onstage, like she wasn't trying to show off to the judges. She just did her thing, and that's all she needed to do. And the choreography was different, but not to the point where she is flailing around onstage. Lucy deserved to win, and I can't wait to see her work in the future.
She's absolutely amazing ! I love that she was a lil different from all the other soloists ! She didn't have the same boring solos than most of the other girls did , her costume is so pretty and her dancing is superb , even though there were a few teens with a lil better technique , but their solos , musicality and energy wasn't as good as Lucy's , and that's what BEST dancer comp is all about and not about for how long u can kick / hold your leg up and how many times u do a deep plié !! U GO GIRL !! You TOTALY deserved it ! Congrats
MooBear2012 Yep, I totally agree that this was amazing! If you don't mind, can I please ask that you don't post comments that may be hurtful towards other dancers while praising another dancer? (as in the "boring solos" part?) I would prefer for the comments to stay positive so dancers who watch these videos and read the comments are not hurt by them. Thank you.
Elenora Koch Simrin Player has! I also recognized it. But I think the song Simrin dances to is kind of a remix, because the song she dances to goes 'I walked into the room dripping.. in gold' and then there is like instrumental music :-) Maybe that's why you recognize it? :)
