- The Talking Bull podcast presented by HP Poly returns for the final time in 2023, and Nicola Hume is joined by reigning World Champion Max Verstappen, and his Oracle Red Bull Racing team-mate, Sergio "Checo" Perez. Filmed on Campus in Milton Keynes, the two Formula 1 drivers who finished P1 and P2 in 2023, review the season including their highlights, answer questions sent in by the fans and look ahead to the 2024 F1 season.

Thats the advantage when you have a fast car, you can run the engine with a little less power and still be first

These two are so grounded, down-to-earth and natural. They don't play the media game, they are just good guys and great racers!

Earlier this year Ken Block passed away in an accident while he was up in the snow, and it’s been a reoccurring theme that someone famous dies in January for the last few years, I don’t wanna manifest that but I just don’t want anything bad to happen
It happend to chase elliot (nascar driver) this year he went skiing & broke his hand or foot i don't remember & he was out for a couple of months😭

I agree. She really creates a relaxed vibe during these podcasts/interviews. Every single one I have seen has the same relaxed vibe around it, I'm sure it's because of how good she is at these things.

Max is actually pretty funny.

What a lovely interview! There’s seems to be a genuine camaraderie and friendship between the two drivers despite what the media is letting us believe. Max macks RedBull/TAG like a boss. When was the last time anyone saw him without a RedBull in his hand and a TAG on his wrist? Not only is he a best driver, he's the best, most "on-duty" spokesman.
In the car, Max never wears watches while racing to save weight.
@@Abb0ablewell name one current driver who wears a fken watch inside the cockpit,fun fact jim clark had an actual stopwatch attached to his left arm that he manually clicked each time to count laps and laptime.
Talking about a dreamteam! I hope Checo's luck will grow next season though... he is such a nice guy and a really good driver! We all seen it from time to time!

@@Myles720 True! To this day, Renault, like any other French car brand, is notorious for its unreliability. And to this day it blows my mind why my favorite driver Danny Ricc chose to go from RedBull Renault to Renault, the engine supplier who gave him so much sh*t in his last year at RedBull. I said it then and I have kept saying it ever since: leaving RedBull was and will always be the dumbest mistake in his career.
Man, keep Max away from snow/skiing. We do see him as the next Schumacher, but don't want it in that way..

Scavenger hunt usually involves teams a camera and a list of activities to do in the public spector such as swing on a swing, take a selfie with a stranger wearing orange, send a post card to home in the mail, etc. the team who completes the most tasks in one hour wins!

Mate, I would feel so conflicted if I’m in Checo’s place. On the one hand, he’s in the best car on the grid, by the far the most dominant car/team he’s ever been in, but on the other hand he’s up against one of the fastest and greatest drivers in the history of F1. Must be really tough seeing Max break all these records while he’s just trying to get on the podium every race. What helped him finish 2nd was because the next teams are close to each other in performance like Mercedes And Ferrari and even Aston and McLaren. If there was a definitive #2 team, checo could’ve easily lost #2 in the championship
Si Checo perdía ese 2do lugar iba ser totalmente culpa de Redbull, sinceramente dos meses en detectar que era lo que no se sentí cómodo, cero estrategias, un ingeniero novato con errores garrafales, ufff en verdad ser 2do piloto de Redbull es toda una odisea, prácticamente son olvidados y al final Redbull se lava las manos y quien tiene la culpa el piloto, claro en esto Max muy poco tiene que ver el es talentoso, para mi el culpable totalmente es Redbull
It's probably hard at times, yet I feel Checo is able to put everything in context quite well and enjoy the success he's having in what was supposed to be the post-mortem of his career.

Interesting stuff for me is the body language of both drivers, to see if one of them is dominant in these kind of settings and that Checo seems less internationally oriented than Max.
