I hope that if there is a big enough demand, they will introduce the need or ability attach hoses between pumps and the tanker or the silos as having it sat next to it kind of removes the immersion a little. Something like what the manure mod did, to allow us to pump water and fert to ibc would be amazing

Just to inform. On console it won't be able to do manual connect hoses because of the scripts. Maybe in the future if they design for next gen only. But at this moment it ain't possible.
Definitely agree I think you should be able to attach to the tank or tanker would be better and more realistic it needs to happen can't see why they can't do also if they do do it for the vehicles too and other liquid transfers like filling you tractor with diesel just to add to effect also if you don't with to that should be fine too

Mr. P! hubby and I were weary about this DLC but hey, we looked at your tutorial and complicated as it were, it sold us! it is a huge learning process and yes, one had to use a test map to get a hang of all the stuff available but boy oh boy! it is bonkers!!!! thank you for the extensive tutorial! could not have done it without you!

Excellent video, MrSealyP!! I would definitely agree that what this brings to the game, especially for consoles, makes it well worth the price! After seeing this demonstration I'm definitely well excited, to the point that I can already see a series I want to try this in and I haven't even brought it yet! It does do in different colours, really handy when you’re trying to find where the hoses change. Got to say I’ve barely used it and this mod is incredible. So glad I bought it! It’s all money that goes into Creative mesh making many more great mods & GIANTS reinvesting in the next in the series!

With the larger hose reel that holds 1700, you can put 1.2 km on the large reel, then another 500 on the smaller reel once you’ve unfolded it. I did 500+500+200 for main reel & 200+ 3x100 and I got 1700 on.
So I haven’t tried it yet as I’m at work till later this evening.But watching everything I do feel as the price is worth it.I haven’t done a lot of slurry or anything even with 200+hrs this pack would make slurry more interesting.I also too would add mods will take advantage of this dlc in the future so it would be worth buying the dlc just for the future mods and dlcs that will take advantage of the different elements this pack brings

I remember seeing something with djgoham on the pre release but it was PC version with the water pump where it can sit in the back of one of the slurry/digestate trailers for water pumping
The mobile water pump think of it as a mobile water buying stations, you can attach it to the back of the tanker with the generator on
Waste of money imo man, but to each their own obviously. I dont understand why water buying stations is even a thing, if its gonna be charged for it should be a part of the daily/monthly fee ya know
@@Cosm1cCream the mobile water pump I don’t think charges you it’s just fills up the water, could be wrong though
I’m sure after a while using this it would become like second nature, however personally I play the game because I find it relaxing & chill & I think this just would complicate something that is a easy job in the base game so I think this DLC is not for me. Thank you MrSealyp for making these videos on the new DLC. You are a better man then me to understand & explain how it all works.
Yes same here the more I have watched about the DLC the more I think not for me. Like you to me it looks complicated and would take the fun and the enjoyment that I get from playing the game away.
@@lenwiggins3052 Both of you guys have said what i was thinking. IMO, if you're into it, the price seems reasonable for the content. But personally, I'll stick with the current slurry spreaders. I’m interested to see if this gets any further updates (like additional hose connections etc) and as the scripting is now available for other modders to use I wonder where they will take this.

As interesting as this whole DLC is the hoses portion seems like an enormous reinvention of the wheel when a simple slurry spreader or any of the generic tools just do the job nearly instantly in comparison. Just a ton of extra steps and money spent in game just to do a simple task.
Another way to look at it time saved... Bc slurry/digestate goes super fast and you're always stopping to refill your spreaders to do it the OG way.
But i haven't bought it yet.... Still thinking about it.
Maybe a standalone pump as well would be awesome

I hope they do an update a few things like connecting a tanker to a pump via a pipe would be great as would connecting the pipes to storage tanks or fermenter
Well i wonder how does this work with precision farming because if I'm correct while using precision farming you need to put those sensors on your slurry spreader on order to get max enviormental score

Unreal video, MrSealyP. The big reel does have a capacity of 1700 metres but it’s split as 1300 in the bottom reel and 400 in the top one

@mrsealyp but why would you use hoses when you can just fill a spreader up and throw it on a field?
Slurry/digestate goes fast...= Less trips to refill
The slurry pump that didn't have the range, could you put that pump in between two umbilical hoses to increase range out on the field?
In real life yes it can but I haven’t had a chance too try this pack at all

My opinion; I payed for the full game. + 1 year bundle - and STILL has to pay for this. That price, for what? I get it, the pipes are cool, and BGA, yes, cool - but not 18 eur cool. Maybe 7 - 9 eur cool at maximum. Wont buy this untill atleast 50 % deal comes up. (My opinion)
No matter what i do i cannot get it to work - followed your video and went on my Calmsden save and nothing - just insists no pump connected 😡😡🤬🤬
I think this will be a hard pass for me, however with the extra coding that has undoubtedly been added to the game for this DLC, I don’t think it’s a stretch too far to make the jump to irrigation which is a dlc I would fork over $20 for.
If irrigating the crops increased yield.... I would agree... But until then doing so would just be cosmetic or rp.
I don't do mods just for that.... I need mods to make the job easier or somehow better my yields/productions.
Does anyone remember the mobile generator we had in fs19 that would be awesome 2 go with this pack,instead of using a tractor??

yes it is a new thing. but it is a waste of time. so much work to do a job that is already simpler. I feel that it should be in the season pass or cheaper because this just makes things harder.
It is added work to set up but imo the benefits do make up for it that benefit in game being higher capacity tanks and you can, I believe, connect straight to a slurry pit which means you don't have to refill as often.
The high application rate of slurry is mainly why I've never used slurry for fertilizing my fields because if the field is large enough you'll have to refill multiple times to get that job done so this pack will definitely get me into slurry.
As for the season pass it wasn't included in that because this isn't a Giants made DLC it's a third party DLC made by Creative Mesh so the income made off of it goes to them (Giants is most likely getting a small cut but I'd imagine most is going to the developers of the DLC)
@@LoneWolf5841- Giants didn't make Precision Farming either, so why is it so dang expensive.

@@DanTheMonkey yep I also believe Giants did develop the mod themselves with help from John Deere.
Precision farming was funded by EIT Food and led by John Deere but not developed by them (I think might be wrong) The reason why it's free could be multiple factors but is most likely because it is already funded by EIT Food.
Never seen a farm use anything like this. Including the farm my father owned for years. Can't see the point of making this so complicated. A good slurry spreading tank is all that's needed. Could you imagine all the messy hoses and equipment after fighting that machinery for a day. Tom Pemberton needs to get one on a demo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
First time I saw a farmer use this was Tom Pemberton. The video was a few years old though
The irl use of these are to reduce the weight on the field which reduces soil compaction as well as lowering the amount of trips you must do to refill the tank as these tank has a much higher capacity compared to normal slurry spreaders and you can connect them directly to a slurry pit.
In game the only use to it is reducing the amount of times you must refill and I believe you can connect to slurry pits as well in game so imo there's a use (now if you're using unrealistic capacity slurry spreaders then it might not be as useful)

@@jackwatson5608 George Saunders did a number of videos a couple of years ago when he was doing slurry spreading using umbilical hose.
I watched an irl video of this type of equipment being used on a large Dairy Farm in New York State, USA. It was on their Hay growing fields, so I suppose the larger fields require the higher capacity tankers.
To be honest, as I will never have any use for this very expensive DLC, I am verry happy that is NOT part of the season pass. I wonder who will ever do hours of prep work for fertilizing a field with the most unefficient fertilizer you can get in the game and having to put a ton of money into equipment wasting a ton of slots, when you can reach the same result (fertilized field) in a fracture of time with way less money to spend by spreading solid fertilizer made from slurry/manure or digestate.
People who like realism. For me the game isn't about getting as much done as quickly as possible. It's a great pack and the reason it isn't part of the seasons pass is because it's brought to us from creative mesh and not Giants.
For a change. Doing the same thing over and over with no options to try new things makes this game less, to me, that’s just me, but it’s DLC like this that would bring me back to give it another play.

Im 900 Hours on FS 22 atm... and the P&H DLC is NOT worth the 17 euro. Buy the Key for Steam or other Platforms elsewhere (kinguin/keyforsteam) for 10 euro then its worth it.
