Last year, when I was laid up on medical leave, I prolly would have gotten this DLC no problem. But, now I'm back to work and MIGHT have 90 min a day (that's on a very good day, average is 30 min) to decompress on the Xbox. So I dunno if I'm gunna go with this or not.
But while I'm watching all this, knowing that this all exists IRL, I can't help but feel a sense of awe in the ingenuity of the human race. It was barely 100 years ago (Maybe 120?, this is nearing the end of 2022.... that went fast) and in that very very short period of time, look at the things we've been able to achieve! This whole setup is pure genius. Lots of hard work, lots of hard thinking, and you get nothing short of perfection.
If you don’t mind me asking, what do you do for work? Is it at least good pay or are there other things going on that’s leaving little time to play/unwind?
@@GhostGamer003 I drive a concrete mixer truck in the Seattle metro area, and it pays pretty good. Pays the bills, plus a little extra, keeps the wife happy

Excellent video, MrSealyP!! I have to say I'm finding out a lot more interesting things about Pumps And Hoses than I was expecting, probably going to have to watch this and part 2 a couple of times to understand it better, and while I'm still on the fence I'm definitely buzzing a lot more for this that I was after just watching the Giants marketing videos!
A very informative video and you explained things perfectly as we have come to expect from your videos. :). It was great that you placed each piece individually so we can see it come together. I won’t be adding it to my game play but it is neat to see.
You can put the separators near a normal cow barn manure tank and it will work, you can also use the manure from it as bedding, the single one you can put it so it’s over a wall into an existing manure pit at a cow barn and it will

I frustratingly can't get my separator to work, it shuts off automatically, even with automatic engine start disabled. not sure what I'm doing wrong, I have it right next to a tank of digestate.
Just got this DLC getting ready to check it out. I also got the hay and Forge pack earlier as well.😊😊😊😊

20:13 the reason why you had digestate in that tank is because the biogas plant you showed off at the beginning was using the tank you sit next to it as slurry storage and then when you had the second one it was recognizing it as a digestate storage you can use those silos independently for just storing slurry but they have to be far enough away from the biogas plant or the biogas plant will think it's part of it
Sept. 27, 2022 I really like the idea of the "Separator" but buying this DLC just to use that part only is a bit too spendy for me. GREAT video though. Thank you sir.
@MrSealyp you do not attach directly to the tanks but put a pump near it like a 1 kilometer and attach a hose to that mods will come out to attach from tank to pump then pump to your field tractor
Question: Did he find a shortcut button press to open the build/placeable menu... Or is he editing out the part of opening the store first and scrolling L1/R1 to it?

Hey Mr p the tank is connected to the bga so it coverts the slurry to digestate if you place the tank futher away from the bga so you dont get the connecting lines it will act as a slurry tank
First thing I thought of seeing the thumbnail was "boats and ho's"
Could you explain a little more about the distribution options please, I’m not sure what the difference is between storing, selling and distribution across bga.

Do any of the manure silo extensions (the ones that you would normally place near a cow or pig barn) support this new separated manure and link to the separators? Those extensions can fill a trailer or manure spreader without a bucket and show you how much you have in storage, which I would definitely want if I'm placing a tower separator at my BGA.

Yeah 18€ is a bit too steep, if it was 10 then I might have thought about buying it. It's same price as the platinum expansion.
It's a third party DLC, both Giants and the devs of the DLC need to make some dosh £££
@@bdanno maybe but it's still the same price as a new map, new machines, new game mechanics, so that's why this dlc is not for me.
@@DanTheMonkey its not the same price as platinum, and compared to other dlc released so far, this one has by far the most content and includes bunch of new ways to play some parts of the game, imo its worth it.
@@Erik-ce3hq platinum expansion is 18€99, the pumps and hoses dlc is 17€99. I'm not criticising the modders but it's just too expensive for me.

Could you put a storage silo grid underneath the separators?
Dry pelletized manure cannot be handled with a fork. Unless the spacing is less than the pellet size.
Can you have multiple power plants to eliminate co-gen at max output?

Great video as always! To turn off the torches you need to build another cogeneration plant. Apparently at full capacity, just one of the biggest cogeneration plant is not enough to support 100% efficiency

Fortunatly hoses cant be connectetd to bga system but you can park pump on trigger to use silo for big tank and yes it works least all base game slurry/ digestate trigger's
