Thanks for all the great videos Nick! I have a request for a video if you are interested in showing your top 10 weirdest plants. I love strange forms :3
“I’m terrible at outros” had me dead bc once me & my bf were watching one of ur videos & it just friggin cut off & ended & we were like wtf?! Then we realized thats just how YOU ENDED IT 😂😂 we were laughing like who ends a video like that 💀💀
I love the color pots you picked for the plants. You certainly have a good eye for that! The emerald green pot is gorgeous with that plant! And I'm going to do the same thing!😊
Hi Nick! I love the plant/planter combos you showed. I like that you don't stick to just one color theme, but have so many different and pretty planters. That's what I have to. Thank you so much for sharing!
My favorite are a head planter that I planted a rested cactus into, so it loos lie the brain 🤣 and a birds nest fern in a hand thrown white low planter 🥰 But when in doubt a nice cactus or succulent in a fitting terracota pot is always nice 😉
I've always admired your pottery, you have a gorgeous collection! Mustard yellow is probably one of my favorite pot colors. I think the color goes so well with almost any plant.
at 2:15 I paused the video, went on Etsy and bought me a scindaspsus Pictus exotica (plus a Hoya linearis and some pumice) thank you Nick ! About the pottery and pots, my all time favorite are terracotta, not very original but the color complements the green of the plants perfectly and they are cheap in price. Sometimes I fall for some beautiful planters and suspended baskets also. I love the last plant, the nice euphorbia in the little man terracotta pot, the match is awesome and fun .....
Love your videos! Especially when you talk about the pretty planters, color combos, the nature of the plants, and the actual reality of living with plants post-greenhouse :)
When i first started with plants, it was the opposite for me. Less about the plant, all about the planter. There are so many talented ceramic artists who make beautiful pieces and I had historically drowned all of the house plants I've tried keeping over the years. It became time for me to acquire plants to put in these pots, to give it another go. So far, so good! I breathe a sigh of relief coming out of New England winters when they start shooting off new growth 😅 Ahh, if they don't make it at least I have the beautiful pot still.
Exotica and and Spring Snow are beautiful ! I'm a big fan of Bergs pottery. I I have the glazed mustard yellow but planning to buy the green one. I enjoy watching your videos. Kudos to you ! Wondering what plan is on your right looks beautiful and healthy !
Could you do a full video on the euphorbia leuconeura? I just purchased one from Steve's Leaves and would love to learn more about it!! 🙂 Love your videos, Nick! ❤
That aglaonema is stunning. I'm a huge Agalonema fan; they're all just gorgeous. I've got a beautiful Super White but I've been coveteting your chocolate one! I've found that I like a contrasting pot so I have a lot of black or very dark blue pots as they make the plant pop more than say, a white one. I'm really fussy about which plant goes with which pot and I often switch them up when I get a new one. One of my favourite pots though looks like the head of Freda Kahlo. Curly spider plants or small Asparagus ferns always look great as her hair! I also like 3D-printed pots. They're not particularly cheap but they're really light so perfect when you have less than sturdy shelves!
Oh pottery is a dream hobby! Especially if you can later use it later for your plants. The Aglaonema you have shown is just great!!!! I am totally in love 😻
You were the whole reason I had to have some of the Bruning pottery pots. I have two of the Celadon ones. They are beautiful! I am also pretty sure that you were the reason I had to have the green glazed Berg's planter as well. See the trouble you get me into!
I love your pottery! I adore handmade and struggle to find local artists. Just found your channel and I will follow in case you ever sell yours! Great content!
Side note: a decade ago my good friend gave me a tiny euphorbia leuconeura. Fast forward a couple of years, thar little sucker (yes, it was a sucker) made an army. I gave everyone in my environment seedlings and as soon as theirs got big enough to throw their seeds around (and they will, trust me) they also began gifting them to their friends. So, now, they own the town. 😂
Hiya Nick, hope your well...looking fly! Love the cpmbos! I'm in Oregon and have 1 Bruning pit with my Dishidia ointha in it. I'm sad, as she needs a re pot so I've been driving myself crazier..lol trying to decide which plant NB to put in Bruning pot when I do. You solved it! Curtisii it is! Have the best day ya can...the world's on fire( wish Tennessee et al were) Love and good vibes to you though friend!!!!!❤❤❤
I only use a plastic pots, unless the plant comes with a planter… I guess it’s a good excuse when you want to buy another plant and your partner says you can’t but you have an empty pot.
A great planter can elevate a plant to a work of art.
Definitely 😊
If you ever resume pottery, I think you would be successful if you had it for your merch, Nick. Enjoy your videos. You always inspire me. 😊
Yes that would be fun Nick!

In Finland, we call that last plant a naughty boy because it shoots seeds everywhere 🤣
I definitely picked the right planter then 😂
I always buy the saddest plant because I know no one else will.. LOVE the choice of planters..
Love the combos! My favorite ceramist/artist for handmade pottery is Nickie Gunning.

I have my Exotica hanging in between my lemon lime philodendron and Cebu blue. I absolutely love the color combination!
That sounds just lovely!

Rite Aid had ceramic 5 inch pots with faces (reminiscent of easter island faces). The colors caught my eye.
That plant is so beautiful,

Yes, your last plant is called a Madagascar Jewel. I have one. Such a cool looking plant as it matures.
Thanks for sharing! Love it 💕
I have one similar to yours, a diamond aglaonema in a dark teal bergs pot.... Amazing. One of my favorites. Almost anything in a bergs pot really ...

Hey Nick, would you consider a video about how different hoyas flowers smell?
I would love to start pottery to make my own plant pots & maybe make them for family as well 😊🪴
thanks for sharing an inspiring video😊
Finally got my hands on a Spring Snow Aglaonema and it’s definitely one of my favorites.
I love ceramics. I want to learn how to throw pottery. That would be really cool to be able to make your own planters.
The plant is called a Madagascar Jewel.
