I have punch adventure cng , driven 3500km in 3 months , my overall genuine review for this is:- Let's start with negative of tata punch cng, tata need to improve - 1. No front co driver grab handle . ( Serious improvement needed as some passenger needs this for feel good factor and also for safety ) 2. Front headlight -very bad , honestly can't drive at night with these company fitted halogen light.( Serious improvement needed) 3.Brakes - ( It doesn't give you confidence ,took times and the bite is worst ,u need to be extra cautious while driving and keeping your speed checked) - serious improvement needed 4.Horn - low standard , spent 9.20 lakh but the horn is boring and low . ( Mild concern ) 5. No adjustable head rest at back seat . ( Not a deal braker but again 9 lakh me back adjustment head rest to aana chahiye) 6. I don't know what is this than whenever I turn ac off ,the leg ventilation actually gives warm air like heater turned on this . I'm not sure whether it is some problem or what ,but this need to be fix and very irritating . Do let me other owners that whether you suffers the same or its problem only in my vechle Interior - simple and centre console is missing , some may find it is boring and some find it ok as tata managed to give it a good front interior looks but still i dont feel as it has lots of +ve when compared to competition. Interior is not that good of hyundai exter, magnite but again the tug of war comes in between safety or features ,i choose safety, you may choose feature ,actually its subjective so no complaints. Gears - not so fluent as you find in maruti ,means u need some effort but tata manage to do little better than previous tata so u find little difference while shifting gears but for those who where accustomed to maruti or hyundai might find gears a little hard .previously I own mahindra so no complaint Back gears - stuck sometimes ,or can say most if the times noise comes and gear not properly engaged so need to re engage it ,tata meed to work on its gear shifting Overtaking at highway : as initial pickup is ok ok ,low end is good ,mid range is sufficient but definitely power lags and response lags when you stuck while overtaking feels like the vehicle is not delivering that much quick response even if pressing paddle and actually takes time at high end acceleration delivery ,u need speed maintenance to do it also high end pickup is not so good so after 90 to 100 kmph it doesn't boost nd seems like struggling to gain speed even if press full acceleration ,it takes times to further accelerate so extra cautious required , know your vehicle otherwise it will be risky drive safe . Space - its good and i hardly complain ,feels airy and the view is definitely good no problem for driver as the hood is completely visible from drivers seat as like suv .( Jo log drive ketre hai wo samjh payenge ) Mileage in petrol is approx 14 to 15 kmpl in mixed city and highway driving , you can expect 16 to 17 on highway maintaining good speed and light footed driving ,I got highest to 17kmpl with ac all time on and 3 adults with no luggage On cng mileage is 21-22 kmpl, 3 adult with no luggage in mixed driving with ac all time on , yet not get 27 as claimed. I think it is bit lower than other cng of maruti and Hyundai and on cng mileage should be atleast 25 then it would be great but still the car is heavy and safety and looks ,so can't be considered as downside also it's just a single servicing report , I hope it would improve gradually to 25 after oil change and more servicing . No driver seat adjustment - issue is mild in nature as my height is 5.7 and doesn't have issue with the seats but some people with lower height might need seat adjustment. No back wiper and di- fogger - honestly 9 lakh deserves at least back wiper Pick delivery - feels low on cng while initially acceleration but when it gets a certain rpm and speed it is good and easily cruise to 90kmph Pick up petrol - better than cng , but still feels that initially 0 to 20 is a bit low power but again it's 3 cylinder and 9 lack you can't expect much, need to be accustomed with the pick up and when it gets rpm and speed then you can cruise , mid range is good and high range is not meant for this car as this car is made for ease driving and doesn't certainty made for driving enthusiast so 80 to 90 would be it's best speed on highway as it's not a racing car ... Also brakes doesn't give you such confidence to zap it above 100kmph Positive - looks , this car gives you feeling of no less than a XUV , specially on front seats it feels really driving like a big XUV Clutch is super light Design and ground clearance - awesome feels like a proper XUV in your garrage. Safety - we all know it's 5 star so no compromise Steering - light in City and gets some weight at highway ,it's nice but again this car is not made to surpass 100kmph Boot space - a big +ve which makes it diffrent from other cng , as it doesn't have big massive single cylinder , you can carry atleast a medium siZe trolly bag along with two school bags . Comfort- at 9 lakh it feels comfortable at all the seats either front or back , 2 adults + 1 child at back seat is good , adult - a real healthy adults otherwise 3, 30 years male with medium health can easily enjoy back seat. Music and speaker - it's just awesome , u can hardly get such music in competition. Suspension - a bit stiffer side ,good for highway Vibrations - as it is 3 cylinder engine vibration is evident on gear knob but very minimum , I have driven diesel Mahindra engine previously so I'm accustomed to lot more vibrations in my Xylo 😊 ,can say how maruti and Hyundai owner judge it ,but my report is ok ,it doesn't feels much to me Ac - is 6 out of 10 you cannot complain but not the best as no ac vent on back side but the size of the car is below 4 metre and ac works well so not a big problem it cools well for the back passenger also. Verdict - looking at price , segment and competition you can say it's the best that is available , obviously interior is not so attractive as competition as exter but still 5 star and looks and ground clearance matters. Conclusion - go for it as it is best in class at this price , only one thing can make you shift to exter that is interior and some functions . Whom to buy :- family car ,not for driving enthusiast , below 100kmph driving ,with no haste to overtake ,pyaar se chalane wali gaadi hai inshort .not for people who need good interior and feature as it is ok ok ,good in City manoeuvre,also highway pe 90 to 100kmph will be enough .
