I would like to see a new window install. I was locked in when the jump lead 'jumped' off my flat battery and had to smash the rear window to get out. 46 deg c in a shed on a rural property on my own in Australia. Talk about panic attack. I nearly died. Do I have to remove the regulator to fit the glass or can it be done inside the door? Very dangerous car. In Australia our locks and door handles are electric over mechanics, so you can still open the door with a flat battery from inside. 75 Rover are electric only. Coffins. It took me a lot of strength and anger to smash that window. A woman, kid or smaller man would have died in that car.
