I own a 2015 ML, does it creek when ya put pressure on the materials? Hell yea it does as expected. Things make noise with pressure.. over bumps it doesn’t make noise even during high speed. I love my car it’s a safe tank that drive beautifully. Also the doors are heavy as bank vaults.
I owned a 2011 ML and a 2016 GLC, I remember the quality of the ML was really better than the future mercedes generation. The GLC had good materials and beautiful Interior but it creaked. Today I have a Lexus, the mercedes Interior is more elegant but lexus doesn't creak and seems to be more solid.
It supposed to have a little give otherwise everything would shatter on impact. You need to look at the overall quality of the materials. As for as this mercedes, I can attest, the quality is top notch and that suv is a tank that will last a lifetime. Currently have 236k on my ml350x
In your opinion, which car brand in 2021 has the best quality interiors? if you had to choose between audi mercedes volkswagen and bmw which would you choose? I am referring to the basic or intermediate models, not the top of the range. How would you rank these brands from best to worst?

Which year of ML do you have ? I want to get one and want to get the most reliable model year. Also, where do you maintain it at?

I think I would say Porsche then BMW. Those two are a on another league in terms of quality atm.

Gauge hoods are problematic after 2009 in every MB reviewed. They visibly move with your fingers when squeezing.
