The "distorted rustic" feel of both Unknown tracks definitely fits the idea of an urban legend. Its familiar and yet unknowable. Its in the parking lot of your workplace, in the forest by the trail you hike, its activating your front door camera. I really enjoy this chapter.
for the dbd theme the dbd them part makes me think of a a vhs player and after that, It makes me think of intense breathing and sable walking around the theater as the cash register making "a customer walked in" noise and the unknown breathing faster
I love it, tells something is looming on our world and we must fight for our lives. It may just be the vibes of a dark goth girl who was raised badly and now sees darkness everywhere
It's less insidious than the Unknown's music, and way more, well, literally metallically sounding. Yet more determined and confident as if a forge master crafting a special sword for a last fight. I don't know. This feels self-aware and dark but not in a scary way. Which is scary.
