Cool shout outs! And a great gift! As for your question, i watch maybe 5-10 a day, depending on how long they are. I do watch every video i start all the way through. But i subscribe to wayyyyy to many chanels to watch every single video. And i dont even bother with the watch later list, id never get caught up and would just fall further and further behind. Good question buddy! Stay warm!

I, like you.watch about 100 videos or more a week. If i fall behind, I'll try to watch every video a creator pits ip that I missed. I also have ADD and have a hard time with long videos.

Great video and question, Joe. I try to watch every single that pops up each day in my subscription list (about 104 channels, obviously not all of them post daily, or even weekly). Some nights that's 4 or 5, some days that's 15-30. Those that are long (20+ minutes), I'll watch as much as I have time for, and let it finish playing through so tgey get tge watch-minutes, and I can Share and comment. It's a struggle some days to watch em all (Wednesdays and Sundays in particular have lots), but I enjoys it ✌️😊
I subscribe to everyone to subs me, I don't even want to know how many that is lol! I wish I had more time to comment on every one and be able to watch uninterrupted, but then I'd never get anything built! Thanks buddy!
John is a great guy!! One of my first friends on here. I watch too many and not enough lol. Over 500 in my watch later list, even though I knock a few out every day. Between building, filming, editing, and regular gotta do stuff, only so many hours in a day. Oh as for your snow, we got over 9 inches... In FLORIDA!!!!!
Wow! 9" for us is a "normal" winter event, I bet it's chaos down there! As of yesterday, in undisturbed spots of my back yard, I measured 33". That's usually our 3-month total, not 10 days!
@BigSkyModelWorkshop there are no snow plows or salt trucks at all here. In fact the Florida record was 3 inches, set all the way back in 1895!! So it completely shattered the record and here, 5 days later, still a bunch of roads closed even though we've had temps off 50 degrees
@pappytinkers our city is so poorly run these days that we have 3 plows, but they had to hire every contractor in town to haul snow away instead. Its a long story lol...
I watch about the same amount or at least try to. I also need to start jumping into some of these cool GB's.

As for videos. The watch list thing is out the window. I watch 15 or so a day and while I do watch/listen the long videos while I work I don't always comment. I have the channels I always watch and all the rest are picked at random, I'm just subbed to so many I just spread the love to some the best I can. Not to mention all my Automotive, Linux channels, Woodworking, and a few others I watch...
With my building, making my own videos and the AMC Live Cast show my plate is way past full and I don't get to join in on your's of Pauls weekly video but once in a while. Just do the best I can... 😁

Great shoutouts to a couple great guys. As for the question. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer. We all do what we can right? I watch just as many as I possibly can. Basically if I can hold my phone or have it sitting nearby then I’ll have videos on. If I’m at the bench it’s basically on 100% of the time. But you know, there’s work, the wife, real life so still not as many as I’d like. I just try my best.
Exactly. Work, wife, kids, building, and trying to be as supportive as I can. It's its own hobby almost!

Very cool shout outs! John is a really cool guy and has come quite far in his building abilities, I love watching his videos. As for your question concerning how many videos I watch. Well, I am never caught up. I am subscribed to well over 1000 channels and I must watch over 150 videos or more a week. I don't even know what the watch later list is and if I did, I'm not sure I'd even use it as it would never be caught up, just like me. At times I'll just pick a certain creator and watch all their videos from the last one I watched and then move to the next victim. I watch while I'm watching TV, building, playing Grand Turismo 7, and this last one drives my wife batty, I have my laptop screen playing a video, I have a separate monitor with another video, and my cell phone with a video playing. It's insane, of course, I'm retired but even at that I'm not able to stay "current". Yeah, I can multi task, but there are times when I get burnt out too. Wow, that was long winded. It's beautiful when you don't have to fight it 😆 We usually don't get this much in such a short time frame, it's been 30 years since we saw one like this, my dad was a police officer then, they patrolled on snowmobile for a couple of days!
Well .... being retired and not married, I spend a LOT of time at the bench - a perk of these.. I have a tv, and occasionally have it on( I need something in the background to listen to!); more often I have my phone set up with something to listen to - either an audiobook or a YT video, most often some HFY (human F yeah) sci-fi story - these are quite outlandish but fun. I have a hard time with videos of model build creators, because it requires me to watch the video instead of focusing on my build... So I try to watch a few at mealtime..

I need more hours in a day! My wife just used an app on her phone to create a collage and add text, then took it to the local print shop. I'm designing a new one this weekend since I ran out.
Thanks for sharing Joe. Your question? How many videos?? I sent think I watch as many as you've stated. But, I so LISTEN to alot of videos. I'll compile several into my watch later list. Than at work, ear pods in, I'll just let the list play. It's tough to watch them all. Especially when I do everything on my phone. Watch, record, edit, everything!

I watch around 100 give or take videos a week of ones im subbed too and some new ones I see on the side etc. I tend to watch all the videos, I always like them even if I dont comment but I do try to comment on everyones video. I also watch every video to the end, I tried having them on and listen like you said when building, I cant do it lol i end up watching it anyway 95% of the time so I dont miss anything I guess lol. Not sure if that makes sense lol
It makes perfect sense, I guess I end up probably doing the same. It's almost a hobby unto itself!

100 videos a week is crazy lol. Maybe 20-30 max because I want to make sure I actually watch it and usually I try to find something to comment on to help engagement statistics for the maker of the video. I can't watch every video, especially since I subscribe to armor, plane, and sci-fi builders as well. Some weeks I have no time, other weeks I have more. I gravitate toward build videos, those are always highest in my queue to watch because I learn a lot more by watching someone do something vs having them only tell me what they did after the fact. There's a lot of nuance to model making that can't be solely described in my opinion; how fast are they moving their airbrush, what pressures are they using, how much glue did they apply, did they use filler there or not, how did they apply the weathering product, what brushes did they use to chip that, how did they handle that assembly, etc... But, speaking from experience, I also know those videos take exponentially longer to produce. You guys pumping out 4-5 videos a week, I could never do that with build videos, even if I did them multi-part instead of the whole build in one video.
I would like to try build videos, the two things that held me back were camera position and time. John just fixed one, the other is that my phone doesn't have a ton of storage. Maybe I'll try small bits. I like to just interact, and I get inspired by other builds. If it's a really detailed build, or something I've wanted to learn, I can tune in to those.
@BigSkyModelWorkshop yeah, I'm still learning what to capture and what I don't need to so I don't end up with enormous amounts of excess footage. But an average build is still like 150gb of raw video I end up taking 😬

I watch maybe 30 videos a day. I have about 150+ video notifications a day. At 8 minutes a video thats about 14 hours of videos.

Joe, I do what I can to watch every one's videos. But I don't have the time to watch a 30 Minit video so I generally pass by those. I always watch to the end when I do watch.

I gave up on a "watch later" list a long time ago. lol It became so long, it was just something I didn't want to deal with. None of it was any modeling content because I watch a LOT of other things beside model building (bands, real cars, trains, etc...). I don't watch "regular TV, so YT is it.
I do watch other content as well, I try really hard to keep it caught up.
I watch to many lol. And get not much bench time LOL.

I don't watch TV so generally I watch some UA-cam videos at night if I have time. Sometimes during the day if I have it off, or maybe a couple of favorite hosts early before I go to work. I would never watch every video because some model subjects I'm not interested in or it's an off topic that doesn't interest me.
I try really hard to just be supportive, it's a struggle sometimes. I don't watch TV either, and I started building partially to stop watching football lol.
How many videos do I watch? Way too many to count. 😄

I watch at 1.25 speed...maybe 1.5 speed sometimes just so I can get more videos in. 😁I have no idea how many videos I watch. I have 3 day weekends and no life if that tells you anything. 🤣

I try to keep up with the videos and I'm always so far behind. And I feel bad about it cause I want you all to watch my videos and then I fall behind on your guys, I sometimes feel like I'm not holding up my end.
