Irrespective of how much protein you need, it is always advisable to ensure you are not a person who has high levels of uric acid or even fatty liver. If you do have any of these conditions, please fix that first before consuming a protein shake, especially whey.
Every one cannot digest whey protein. Also, we cannot rely on online sources for whey protein.
Just tell me one fact? Does protein catabolism form uric acid? Or purine catabolism does? How can you state that whey protein cause increase uric acid? Does why protein contain purine?
@@sagnikbose3737 Do some research on your last statement and you will be enlightened.. I am a person with fatty liver and uric acid. They flare up every time I start taking whey protein. Currently I use the one from MuscleBlaze but irrespective of the brands, that can shoot up.
Whey protien does not increase purine in body. Certain foods like chicken, animal organs, spinach, broccolli are high in purine.Even oats has certain amount. However everything in moderation is good. To reduce uric acid increase water intake, add lemon water etc. Whey protien is only problem when someone is lactose intolerent.

Instead of pre-workout supplements, eating carbs 1 hour before a workout is fine. Not eating anything is also fine. Working out early morning on a empty stomach is also fine. What actually matters is what you eat throughout the whole day. Most people fail in this regard.

@@nandishsuri002 Our fellow indians(most of them) actually think drinking one scoop of whey protein and eating the rest of the food as junk will build muscle. It won't work obviously and then say "People are on steriods" to the guys who've been strictly following their diet and workout. Lol these dumbasses have no idea literally.

I thought studies had proven that the anabolic window where you need a fast digesting protein source right after workout is a myth. there were multiple studies I think. I dont know if now they are saying otherwise, but I had read them.

Respect to Yatinder ji for whatever he has achieved in the industry but I would still like to hear it from a Doctor on their verdict on Whey Protein. This 0.8g number has suddenly erupted out of research papers and the companies are trying their best to push it.
For a normal individual at least 0.8 gm protein, per kg body weight is needed

Very informative video.
Indian families nowadays including my family gives lecture on whey protein being unhealthy, at the same time eating 300 calories fried samosa sitting on a couch. I myself a great example of how I changed my lifestyle by quitting fast food, taking 200 less calories than my maintenance calories required with around 120 gm of total protein from diet per day, taking 5 gm creatine everyday with 1.5 scoops of isolate whey protein, doing good amount of exercise 6 days a week and drinking plenty of water.
Though I am working out for last 6 years but I am following this strict diet and workout for last 5 months and believe me my whole body has transformed. I have gained lean muscles and lost 4 kg fat.
The conclusion is that supplements like Creatine, whey protein are not at all harmful if taken properly with strict healthy diet and workout. Thanks.
For micro nutrients and good fat one can consume dry figs , raisins, almonds , walnuts and cashew
To boost testosterone you can consume ashwagandha aswell
And for extra protein peanut butter is also good option

Everything has it pros & cons. If you are not an athelate, you should not follow or think from athelate perspective. An athelate lifestyle is totally different than a sedentary person. If anyone blame whey protein as risky, do they know farm chicken and eggs are much more dangerous than whey. Do proper research, then you can aware that how chickens are produced. How much steroid injections given to them to survive. Even there is no check of cancer for farm chicken. If anyone eat cancer meat that person will also develop cancer.

Caffeine doesnt work same on everyone…. Someone metabolise them very fast and some slow… i can sleep even after chugging 300mg of caffeine at 7pm

But pure protine without heavy metals, artificial sweetener are rare. Also source must be grass fed cow milk. Then such pure protine supplement is not affordable for most of the people.
