This song was played at a very close friend's funeral. He loved M83. Every time I heard the original, I would get so sad. This remix has helped me overcome hearing it now and remembering him in a positive light.

The first time i heard this song i had just spent 4 hours In hospital while my aunties life machines where switched off, there was no hope and after suffering for many days she finally passed, leaving only memories and a 11 year old boy. Reminds me of her, her angelic eyes, her tender touch, her warm breath brushing my face, her smile that could brighten up any black heart. I did some mistakes, I didn't appreciate her, I was a fool and I lost her. Till this day I regret for that time. But I got a miracle second chance and this time I could show myself, the real me, be truthful with her, respect her, love her, be the man she deserves. I don't want to make the same mistakes I once did. And now she sees that I wasn't false, that my emotions were indeed true, I was just stupid. Its only sad that someone else stole her heart. She say's that this guy is too busy with life and relationship with him is impossible, but I see how she smiles around him, when she sees him, she really likes him. I know my sweethearts smile when I see it, she never smiled like that for me. She's giving me all mixed emotions and i'm confused. Sometimes it feels like I never did anything special to deserve her, there's just so many guys around who likes her and takes care of her, I feel so blue. Her being happy is all I want, but i also don't want to loose her. This hurts me so much, theres nothing I wouldn't give to change the past if I could, and being with her is all I ever wanted. Sometimes it seems that she doesn't even know that I love her. Maybe she never will.
