I love all three of those baits. Been tube fishing since the mid 80's. I live on Center Hill now, and I always have all three of those baits tied on (along with a spinnerbait ) every time Im on the water. Beside flipping and pitching, I also fish them deeper. And they work everywhere from on the bank to 25-30 feet deep. I cleaned house in the early 90's in the NC Federation with Zoom lizards and Tubes. Thanks to Peter T for schooling me on Lizards on Kerr lake in 1992.
i mostly fish creeks on a kayak, shoal creek the speckeled watermillon tube rules unless its march to midmay, thats when you want use the lizzards, dark colored ones, indian creek down by anderson missouri, the best one i have found is a translucent almost white to clear crawdead where you clip half the tail off and texas rig it, arkie use to make those and walmart carried them, havnt seen them in years now
Ever since 83ish pitchen & flipping any pork back in the day to to date plastic is my main stay. When you feel that tick thump line swimming out oh ya😀

Agree. I caught a lot of bass on the 6" lizard, but not many over 4 lbs. I also like a 10" power worm or plastic craws.
Next to a swim jig, a tube is my go to lure. I have a ton of them in my tackle bag and for good reason. They catch fish.
I ALWAYS have a lizard on the deck and usually start with it. Watermelonseed is my go-to. Tight lines!
Great info and thanks for sharing.

I've caught alot of fish on the jig and lizard. Never tried the tube. Will have to tie one on next tournament.
Thanks!

At Lake El Salto, the Zoom 8" lizard is mandatory!
Rage Bug is the goat.
Is that black and blue jig the same as the Bandito Bug Scott Martin uses?
What brand tubes do you use?

Before I watch, Jig salt craw ringworm
Why not promote a 55 and older tournament series or 45 and older, no FFS, 800 entry fee's etc
