I'm not one of the "pretty" girls (as I would call you, honestly) and never have been. I've always felt super insecure especially in makeup because I felt like I just looked like I was trying too hard. Now and then though, I'll get into a mood and try out new looks, but I generally end up feeling like a clown after following other tutorials. Your gorgeous look on this video caught my eye so I bought everything I needed and gave your tutorial a try. As a busy wife and mother of 3, moments that I feel pretty are very few and far between. So I genuinely want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for sharing this video and these tips because for the first time in my entire 30 years, I don't feel like a fool for wearing makeup. Same. I feel so uncomfortable with the thought of using make up every day. Apart from the fact that I'm too lazy, it feels like I'm hiding my real self, and I don't want that. Make up for me is for special occasions only. The only exception were times when I had really bad acne. Then I put really natural make up on. It was so natural that people didn't know I had make up on, but my skin looked almost flawless despite my acne. Make up is still great though, but just for special days. Luckily, my boyfriend likes exactly that. On normal days no make up, but on special days yes. He says that that makes a wow effect.
I like how people are calling her out for her comment about Fall when she's actually completely accurate. Winter begins on December 21st ladies.

This honestly is really helpful for me. I don't have much practice with makeup, never really wore any in highschool and only had experience in Theatre which is _so exaggerated_ it's hard for me to tell what is too much or too little, but I'm 24 now and need to know how to do a look that feels natural and easy while still staying my style. Grown-up stuff I guess.
But that's what happens when you're mother tells you unprompted "You look like a boy. Don't you take pride in how you look at work?" like she hasn't been telling me for my whole life that I'm already beautiful and feminine and don't need makeup to look girly.
Those Bare Minerals lipsticks are so underrated. They are honestly the best, most comfortable matte liquid lipsticks. I love them!

Takes me 2 min to fill in my brows for work. I use a creamy pencil from wet and wild for a dollar fifty and I don't work on perfecting them. I just make them darker because they are light and I have no hair. My eyeshadow primer has a Little tint to is so it kind of cleans them up a bit. Boom done. I don't need a full beat for work.

I used to do my make up in the bus on my way to high school. I wore way more liquid eyeliner than I needed but it made me feel confident back then. Now I know that less is more and I appreciate simple and efficient looks like this one. 💖

While I am rerired I still have my passion in skincare and for only the last few years in my life when I felt it was time 4me to use makeup to my advantage ...BTW, just b4 covid times I went all out crazy experimenting with all types from low to high end as well as 100's of different techniques. One can never learn to much. I loved this quick one and done, look and 2b honest mature skin will take, no, must take a bit more time for product to do what product does, and work for us. I know that Tarte are very good for vegan/paraben free/gluten free products but what other brands could you suggest that are both organic/natural etc and work well? Or is this too much to ask haha

Did this look this morning for work at 5am and I feel like a real life doll thank you so much this is definitely my new daily look
My go-to makeup for when im feelin spicy is literally just blush and tinted lip balm and MAYBE mascara that i brush out with an eyebrow brush. Makes me feel 100x prettier and takes less than a minute
