    I'm a pharmacist and I really recommand you to ask for a dermatologist's advice before using differin, because it's not good for everyone, and could cause severe reactions, especially when exposed to sun light

    To all the people who keep saying "She used way too many products":
    The point is to use makeup to freshen up your appearance and make it look as if you have little to none on, which is what she did regardless of how many products she used that's really besides the point. It looks great and natural and that's the goal.
    Absolutely love the finished look, stay positive and beautiful the way you are

      i call it natural less makeup look, just yourself but more beautiful, more freshly, more youngful ❤️ it give the skin is bouncy lolz 😂
      even people have acne can wear light makeup (i mean base foundation, concealed) i have acne skin since i was young teenage till adult, it almost 11year of acne!! im 32yo now &my skin is clean, no acnes but pores is big & have some dark spot, some scare as well
      i wear light foundation (no thick layers foundation & concealer) of course sometime events or celebrations party's i do use more foundation cover if i need to.
      But mostly everyday & go-to or even dinner night, i wear light base foundation like this. It not thick & full cover enough, but my skin can breathing
      Even skin is not flawless but it give me freshly & bouncy skin more than when i wear full face cover foundation & layers concealer

    Differin is amazing, I've been using it for two years and it helped me so much. But please use it at night and use sunscreen during the day, because it thins out the outer layer of skin. As result the skins natural SPF is reduced, which makes the skin more sensitive to light. 😊

    • @sarasaeed9571

    • @Differin
      @Differin 5 років тому +2

      Hey @peachesandpineapples, you’re right! Sun protection is key when using a retinoid. Differin Oil Absorbing Moisturizer with SPF can be used as part of your daily skincare routine to hydrate *and* provide daily sun protection 🌞 . If you’re using Differin Gel, apply the moisturizer in the morning to help prevent the dryness some people experience in the early weeks of retinoid treatment.

    I love this but could you please do this with drugstore products!!! I'm 29 and for the past 3 years I have been suffering from acne in the same areas as you and I tried every acne medication I could think of, except for Differin. Finally bit the bullet and went to see a dermatologist and was prescribed Accutane. I've been on it for 3 months and my skin has improved SO MUCH. My scars are diminishing but that dryness is no joke!!! Wish I would have tried this though. I might incorporate it as a preventative after I'm off the accutane.

    Good skin is also a mixture of food and genetics.
    Foods: everyone reacts to different things. In my case no dairy and less gluten food helped a LOT. Also staying hydrated is a must.
    The cremes you put on it won’t do the full job, only partially.
    Sunscreen is a daily must.

    If you’re first starting differin should only do it a couple times a week at night... your skin may peel.. if so, you can apply it AFTER moisturizer. Best to use at night because retinoids can make your skin sensitive to sub exposure. Differin really does work though (plus can help with anti-aging 😉).

    Omg.. I just finished the entire tube of this stuff and I can’t believe I’ve been using it all wrong. I would apply a pea sized amount to the hormonal breakouts I’ve had and it would inflame it and the next morning the pimple would be gone. The only down side was that it turns those pimples dark leaving PIH and discoloration and it’s also extremely drying. The next time I pick this up, I’m gonna try applying it all over the face!

    • @Differin
      @Differin 5 років тому +1

      Hi Saleha Tahir! As fun as spot treatment selfies are, Differin Gel is unique: it’s not a spot treatment and shouldn’t be used to treat a single pimple. It’s meant for once daily, full-face use, even when you have just one pimple or don’t see a breakout at all. Differin Gel works beneath the surface to clear breakouts and prevents new acne from forming. We know you’ve got this!

      @Differin 5 років тому

      Hey Paola Owens! When using a retinoid, your skin may get a little worse before it gets better while your skin gets used to the Differin Gel. This typically happens in the first few weeks of use and passes after a week or two. If you have sensitive skin, you can work your way up to daily use by applying Differin Gel every other day, or even every third day, until your skin adjusts. Continuous use is key-we know you’ve got this!

    FYI - Differin is still a prescription product in Canada. And now in the summer it is important to remember that retinoids, including adapalene increase your risk of sun sensitivity (which means you can burn more quickly than what you’d expect or develop a rash). It’s best to use a mineral based sunblock that contains zinc oxide, which is full UVA/UVB protection, and gentlest on sensitive skin. Avoid chemical sunscreens. There are a few good brands out there, but AVEENO sensitive skin SPF50 is a great brand and suitable for Acne prone skin (no, I’m not affiliated with the brand) . I am a Pharmacist in Canada.

    • @Differin
      @Differin 5 років тому

      Hey Patty Vamvakitis, you’re right! Sun protection is key when using a retinoid. Differin Oil Absorbing Moisturizer with SPF can be used as part of your daily skincare routine to hydrate *and* provide daily sun protection ☀. If you’re using Differin Gel, apply the moisturizer in the morning to help prevent the dryness some people experience in the early weeks of retinoid treatment.

    Hello Eman. Does the gel help with acne scars. Thank you 💋

      Great question @bilkiss40! Differin Gel treats acne deep in the pores and prevents new acne from forming, which restores skin’s texture and tone. We hope this helps!

    Pretty, 😍 I’ve been using differin gel for 1 yr and half, and it really works, however it dries my skin too much so I only apply it at night 5 times a week, and my skin has improved a lot 👍🏼👍🏼😊❤️

      Hi Chrissy Kelly, thanks so much for sharing! Some people experience dryness when using a retinoid product, so it’s important to follow Differin Gel with a moisturizer and SPF. We're so glad that Differin Gel has made a difference for you. 💙

    Why do youtubers lie about differin? I tried it. It dries the skin so bad to a very damaged skin. No no. Use it, but I would suggest to do it only on pimples at night.

    Thank you so much!🙏🏻This will so helpful for me when I go to work early in the morning and I’m always rushing cause I live to sleep😴😩😂 question: the primer/base goes after you prep your skin right? Meaning serum, moisturizer, sunscreen? I don’t leave the house without sunscreen 😩🙄 on another note: keep going Eman, no matter what life throws at you, keep going! look where you are and everything you conquered already. Many many blessings, good vibes, light and love to you from Jersey! 💖✨✨✨🥰
