Sir in buck and boost converters capacitor connected to the load side is not affected by discharging of the inductor but in buck boost you said that capacitor is charging through inductor. WHY?

In mode 3 when the capacitor discharges, why doesn't current flow through the diode again and charge the inductor again?. I mean how is the diode off in mode 3?
There won't be a correct loop for the current flow , as u said .As current takes shortest path too, capacitor +ve if it starts and if we see from ur point then the current flows diode and charge inductor and reaches same +ve terminal which isn't possible......... But it's nice question hats off to u sir....
