Great video! As a new STR host, I have also learned to ask what cleaning supplies and equipment the owner & the cleaner will provide. For example, the local cleaners ask that I provide a quality vacuum cleaner (and I will even run which ones by them before purchasing), a toilet brush cleaner, and even certain cleaning supplies. Due to increasing cost of supplies and gas, a good cleaner is happy to hear that I’m providing their favorite xxx cleaning products that I pickup at Costco. (Things like Dawn power wash, swifter duster, and a spin mop will make their day lol)
As a cleaner myself, I think this is crazy and find it unbelievable they would be so inconsiderate. I probably over communicate but I want the host to rest assured their property is taken care of.
Hi. Your timing is perfect. We have a home which we are considering listing on Airbnb and I am gathering information. This was top of my list. Thank you so much. Great insights.
Do you still hire an inspector "perfection inspection " for you properties? Currently I use Guesty for hosts and that sends updates for bookings to the cleaner and I can send tasks. Maybe I need to add the other software. Also, do you hire a company with many cleaners or do you hire individual cleaners, and if individuals how do you manage that schedule. How is it determined who goes when? Thanks!!!
I love you guys, great info. Can you tell me more about perfection inspection. How do I find this person? Am I looking for another cleaner but different company for this role?
Great video! Do you just hire one cleaner for each property or do you have backups that clean part of the time as well? If only one, how do you handle when they can't make the clean?
It’s been a slow August and September, at least compared to 2020/2021. We’re seeing bookings picking up in the Valley into Oct/Nov/Dec (with holidays filling up first). Have you tried running promotions? Check out our pricing video for tips. 😊
@@kyleeandsteven Oh I haven't tried a promotion, but I just applied one to this weekend via Airbnb so we will see! I'm in the process of looking for cleaners, so this is perfect. :)
This info is so helpful - thank you!

Hi, do you allow 1 night bookings? If so, how can you cover the cleaning charge.
Hi! When it comes to insurance, what type of proof do you ask for?

We don’t have experience with that company, sorry!
Hello again! What are your thoughts on rental arbitrage with a fully furnished unit charging 5k monthly? Is this something you would recommend?
How do you transfer money to the cleaners account once you have their account information?
Love your channel! I have a place in Indio and I've been struggling with low occupancy! Wondering if you've experienced the same?

Do you have another link for your inventory list?

yes more last-minute reservation for us in Gaspésie
sample inventory link is not working anymore (404) :)
Hi I just checked and it appears to be working now!
Or.....just charge an outrageous cleaning fee and half-ass clean the place so you can run up your profit margins like most hosts. 👍
