I'll proably readjust the sensor a litte next time I'm in the lab. This was first attempt and although I did achieve an improvment, I think I could have done better. On reflection I think it is better to sacrifice the "spikes" slightly in favour of getting nice flat chapped voltages with minimal difference - that is what gives us the minimum error at the lowest end of the sensor range.
