Edit: Its looking like magic damage isn't performing too well. Korin seems to be the man for this one. Ill update you guys again after collating more data
For Smokey he gets the 100% bonus magic damage (from boss aura) to his blue smoke right?
Most of your damage is from star shards actually. The crescent wasn't working at all for me.
Have you tested Satrana?
Thoran and Korin do crazy damage
thoran is #1 dmg dealer and its not even close

Maybe the boss hits hard on frontline therefore thoran's ult putting some work
I think it's because of soul plunder takes a percentage of the boss's hp and the primal has a lot of hp hence it's doing a lot of dmg. Especially when thoran is s+ his ult has the effect of soul plunder.

Dont be fooled! The boss is probably bugged... koring did the most damage, followed by marilee and then thoran... magic characters did nothing... i tried both magic and the old true damage comp... the second one did the best

None of my magic damage was working at all. True damage with normal attacks was the only way I could do damage. Oh and thoran.
Exactly! And funny because it says in the skills boss evades attacks and magic damage is king ecc but korin marilee and thoran are best dd
Yeah, same, magic damage isn't working/counting on this boss, true damage + tanks is the way to go

Thoran, Korin, Koko, Smokey, Marilee is the comp I rolled with. Korin and Thoran doing the bulk of damage, followed by Marilee and smokey, Koko for the shields. That's my f2p team. Was good enough for 208th in my district so feel it's pretty decent as I usually get 280th-320th in dream world for district rankings.

I have the same sentiments towards your pinned comment. I tried running odie but he did jack sh*t in terms of damage. Might try marilee instead

Since my server is new, I think I might have enough time to get Satrana S+ in time for this fight to try it out, what with the mega magic focus in her kit and this fight.
Magic dealers do really bad damage against this boss, you want to avoid them. Boss just has really high m def i suppose. Korin is the highest dps that I'm aware of, at least from what I've seen for this boss.

Great District based ranked rewards... District system is just so bad. was top 200 for ranking rewards now its top 500 but with 5 servers per district simple maths tells you it should be top 1000 for the ranking rewards which means that's 50% fewer people getting the ranking rewards and the frame. Sums up this whole season I guess

My team can't even tank 2-3 hits from the boss without dying. Seems like a boss just for the whale players and as a result it is not very fun to fight when your team can't even do anything.

It depends on when your server was released. This primal is for the older servers your server is probably one of the newer ones
I'm on server 216 and I still have 3 days to go
You can see the countdowns on the even page when you will get all the events respectively of your server time

from reading the comments, its a shame it seems to be just the normal meta heroes again :/ seemed cool at first that mages could shine for it
So frustrating that this boss is available on some servers but is 7 days away from dropping on my server. Such a bad call from the devs to stagger the release of the new season.
Was a brilliant move to stagger them as the bosses will appear at the same pace for everyone for their own server. If they appeared at the same time, lower servers would take wayyyyy longer to finish. Resulting in less boss kill rewards, but also allowing for way more free dust and xp to acquire. Wouldn't be a balanced move at all to have the bosses release at the same time for all servers. It's literally about as balanced as you can get as it is.

its a whale boss so unfair for us free to play i have 7 sup character all non mages and my mages are myth and i cant get 1 chest

Nothing about this boss is for whales. I'm f2p and 208th atm for my district, less than 2 hours before reset. Well within the top 500 goal. Thoran, koko, Smokey, korin marilee is the team I used. Seemed to work pretty good! Korin had the most damage and he is only +5.
Tbh i think this is the worst boss they add.
Once again this makes me really hate the season system. Dev: "Season will balance and help new players soon connect to the game". Brother they already fight Season Primal Lord and u just welcome to the new Season Song of Strife 😭😭😭
Bruh is still same your not going to compete against them who already got the boss your server will get the boss at the same time only whale and spenders will be ahead of you
Every server has it's own timeline, it's advantage for newer players and server because the one who got it first will do all the testing.
