That’s awesome! A hippo sounds like a fun and challenging project to start with. Have you decided on what kind of wood you’ll be using, or are you still figuring that out?

I have one of your beginner sets. It’s very cool! I have done a lot to keep my knife sharp, but it doesn’t take off NEARLY as much at a time as this guy. Do you have any videos of actual beginners, not experts doing beginner level projects? Tbh it can be discouraging to watch someone make it look so easy.

That’s awesome to hear you’re enjoying the beginner set! 😊 We totally get it - watching experts can sometimes make it seem like carving is a breeze, but it’s all about practice and taking things one step at a time. We’re definitely planning on sharing more videos that show real beginner projects, where you can see the learning process and the challenges that come with it. Stick with it - carving gets easier as you go, and you’re doing great! Stay tuned for those beginner-friendly videos!

Don't sell yourself short. It's more about accuracy: "One cut is good. Two cuts are better."

I wanted to carve figures, but not with knives, but with an engraver, will there be a video about engravers and cutters? By the way, I don't know English. Yandex translator would be very helpful if they added it to UA-cam.

Thanks for sharing! We’re all about hand carving tools here, as we believe they give you full control and a personal touch with every piece. While power tools like engravers are great for some, hand tools offer that unique, traditional carving experience. Keep an eye out for more hand tool tutorials and tips coming your way!
