Yes if you make it by hand it may have flaws but that is part of the art and differentiates art from manufacturing. You could use robots to make 100 statues of David, but the only one you would consider as art would be the one done by Michelangelo. CNC is too far removed from actually working with the wood for me. Wood is not perfect and I am not perfect and I am fine with both of those things.
