Hey people, please let me know how you use your goo in your fishery. - directly on the bait - let boilies soak it up - in PVA bags - in spod mixes - ...
Yes, all colours and flavours are possible. Different colours will of course give different effects to the goo. I never used sugar before, but if it solves in the glycerine it should be possible in my opinion.
Great video mate! I wonder if there’s an ingredient out there like a different type of flour, that floats instead of sinks... might be worth experimenting half of z ingredient with half the flour, so some of the flavourings/attractant/goo will travel up in the water, as well as down. 🤔
The flour dissolves completely. So the liquid will float or sink but not both I think. Let me know if you do the experiment and what the results are! 😉
Glycerine is transparant, if you want to give it a colour you can add pigment. For this application it's best to use the liquid variant, but also exists as a powder. You can find it normally in supermarkets as a liwuid to colour up dough for baking.
I don't know the reason but fish oil and glycerine don't mix so well. In my opinion, it's better to use fish oil directly onto the bait or let the boilies you use soak the fish oil for a while.
@@bert_carplife I’ve used corn flour as the thickener but it separates and sticks to the bottom of the container, do you know if this is the same with wheat flour ?

Will
Vegetable glycerin good for this ?
Thx for answer !
Hey, normally it should be the same thing as normal glycerine, so it should do the trick 😉
Is this goo pva friendly... But i soak most of the time
Yes it is, the base ingredient is glycerine, which you can use in PVA bags.
Awesome i will go try this home made ..stuff and i hope u upload more ..thanks for this.. makes fishing lots more fun
Let me know if this goo helped you in your fishery! Have fun and enjoy the fishing!
Hi thank you for this video...can you suggest me a pigment type strong enough to make a very bright goo?
Parker can you give a link to buy this flourescein powder to do this smoke effect
Good video mate. It’s funny I’ve been making this stuff for over 20 years. Made me laugh when Korda brought it out and charged £12.99 a bottle lol
Thanks mate, I always like to make my own stuff for my fishery. It's always more satisfying to catch on your own bait.
Just gone and bought the krill one for 12.99 haha with I’d have seen this video earlier....
Now you can test wich recipe is the best, the original or homemade! 🙈👌
£14:99 these days 🤦🏼♂️😂 no thanks Korda 👍🏻
Super interesting Video mate, will defenetly try this out! Have you already caught some carp with your homemade goo?
Hey, thanks for the positive feedback! Yes, me and my friends sometimes use it in our fishery and already caught on it.
Can I use for example sunflower oil or any oil instead or glyricine?
Hi m8 is it just a basic wheat flour what would you suggest thanks
Where I buy those ingredients from to make the goo I like to try it out
Wow nice can i do that eith all colours and taste.. plus can i ad sugar??
Yes, all colours and flavours are possible. Different colours will of course give different effects to the goo. I never used sugar before, but if it solves in the glycerine it should be possible in my opinion.
Super tip. Thanks
👌

Add some form of fizzing powder to it to make it rise mate
I'm ur 200th sub
You got a link for what pigment you use thanks
You can use any kind of liquid doesn't matter if it's water or alcohol based. Glycerine can dissolve both kinds. Hope I helped you with this!
Ure final product is excellent, but has the pop up just been dipped or has it been lightly glazed left to dry (repeated?)
It has just been dipped once, the effect will last much longer if you can let it soak for a few days/weeks.
Hi..nice video. This goo only use for carp fish? Or can use for other fresh water fish?
Of course you can also use it for other fresh water fishing, you can also mix up the color and flavour for different situations of tactics 😉
Do you have to refrigerate that? Can it sit in back of my truck or will it spoil?
I leave it in my fishing bag. Just give it a good stirr before u use it.
Excellent 👋👋👍
I have a question, what pigment?? did you get the pigment of an ink???
It's a liquid pigment produced by Frutoria.
Does the pigment toxic for the carps?
U can use pigment for food extracted naturaly from fruits.
Hi, can I put any kind of pigment, or do I just need liquid?
You can use any kind of pigment, as long as it dissolves in the glycerine.
Do you find the carp are attracted to it?
I use it especially on waters with a lot of line pressure and find it to make the difference.
I want to ask you something how to make a liquid bait recipe
I have made some liquid baits in the past. Somewhere in the future, I will make a video about it 😉
Can I use milk powder instead of wheat flour?
I never tried it before, but I don't think this will have the desired effect.
How long does this last in the bottle
Does it last as long as Korda
Some of my bottles are still in my fishing bag after more than a year and can still be used after a good shake.
@@bert_carplife thanks for the reply think I’m going to start making some glugs thanks for the video
Good luck!
What's pigment and where can I get it
It's a kind of powder or liquid that gives a colour to your mixture.
Were can you buy it
Hey mate nice vid! I have a little question, where i live i couldnt find glycerine, do you know if i can replace it with something?
You can by glycerine from any super market in the homemade cake isle, or you can order vegetable glycerine from amazon
@@StokieStokie thanks i'll search there!
Can i use any kind of glycerin?
Yes, I just buy it in little bottles from a local shop, but you can as well find it in bulk online.
Very good
Thanks for the feedback!
What Is Pigment e.g.?? Where do u buy it?

I think it's normally called food colouring.
Hiya mate nice video. Where can I get the flavourings ?
You can order all kind of flavours online, it's best to try some out and find out what works best for your fishery. Grtz
can i use fish oil for a flavour and for better attraction and is it PVA friendly
I don't know the reason but fish oil and glycerine don't mix so well. In my opinion, it's better to use fish oil directly onto the bait or let the boilies you use soak the fish oil for a while.
Yes it is pva friendly.
Glycerine / glycerol is a sugar alcohol
Why do you add the wheat flour?
The wheat flour thickens up the liquid, the more flour you add the thicker the liquid will be.
@@bert_carplife ok thanks
@@bert_carplife I’ve used corn flour as the thickener but it separates and sticks to the bottom of the container, do you know if this is the same with wheat flour ?
I find it works best with wheat flour. Stirring very good is also very important.
@@bert_carplife does it clump at the bottom of the bottle if you’ve left it on the shelf a few days though because I’ve found using corn flour does
Caught any carps with it already?🥳
Yes, I sometimes use it in my fishery and already caught on it ✅
You forgot the salmon oil for the upper water levels.
That's indeed an ingredient you can add to the mixture!
Great easy to follow video mate, however, your kitchen is a bombsite!!
Thanks, it is actually my storage room for my fishing gear 🙈
That’s more of a glug than goo. Use a tea spoon of flourocien. That’s what gives off the cloud like the Korda goo
Thanks for the advice, I will give it a try!
or milk powder :)
Thanks for the advice!
I can slap a steak on a grill, doesn't make it 5* restaurant quality though, exactly the same here
More unneeded crap to empty your wallet
It's indeed true you don't "need" some of this extras, but I always like to make stuff like this myself to use in my fishery.
