- In this video I am making banana grits with flossisine powder and cream corn.. flossine is the powder that is used to make cotton candy…. I’m at the lake for less than 10 min when it rattles off with a 32lb monster Buffalo Carp…super strong fish…
1 box of of instant grits
1 bag of quick grits
1. Cap of flossine
1 can cream corn
Mix 1 box of instant grits them 1/2 of a bag of quick grits… instant makes it bond and quick makes it break… then add 1 capful of flossine… I add all the dry ingredients first then the cream corn… mix very well…then let sit for 5 min ….then it’s ready to fish

Měl by jsi zhubnout. Jinak umřeš na infarkt. 👍
Dang brother that’s a big’un now but it would’ve been hard for me to use them grits instead of eating them lollllllllllllllllllllllll. Great job brother be safe and GOD BLESS
ONE THING ABOUT PAY LAKES, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TURN YOUR FISH BACK LOSE
at the carp lakes you do...they want them there for tournaments
YOUR GRITS WOULD MAKE A GOOD DOUGH BAIT
I've never tried to ..make grits dough bait... now I'm thinking about it.
Have found out if this grits and flossine works well with carp? By the way great video!
works best in warmer weather... yellow carp like it better than buffs
Where did you get those mainline pickups? Local or online?
Got them on line…EBay…11$
Where do you buy the flavored powder?
I buy it at a local bait shop… it’s called Flossine…cotton candy concentrate…comes in all kinds of flavors
Is it possible to make this without the cream corn, the pay lakes that I fish don't allow corn
yes sir...you can make forever grits...4 lb instant grits 2 lb quick grits about 16oz of Karo syrup and 2 oz of any flavor you want... mix together and let sit for atleast 1 day... should be ready after that... may have to tweak it if you need more Karo or flavor
Use pineapple we use it up here in the Carolina’s in are grits it works amazing
do you mean use crushed pineapple or just the flavor?
@@WishingIWasFishing73 crushed pineapple
that's a awesome idea....I got a carp tournament next week and I will be trying this out...thank you
Smallmouth buffalo and bigmouth buffalo are not carp. They are classed as a minnow...a real big minnow. However, they are fun to catch. Ladybird Lake in Texas is reputed to have some over 50 lbs. I catch them locally on plain ol' canned sweet corn with soaked in a liquid flavor. A friend sometimes adds a piece of a red worm to his hook. My best is 26-9. Looking for a 30!
Here in s.c the best bait for buffalo is soybean or parko pack bait
in paylake tournament carp fishing buffalo are counted as carp even though they are only distant relatives. They eat the same baits.
Buffalo's are sucker fish, the belong to the catostomidae family which is the sucker family. Carp are minnows, they belong to the cyprinidae which is the minnow family.
I fished the 7 and 11 hole yesterday
11 is one of my favorites… how many did you catch
Where can I get the mainline pickups local.
This at cannons ? In Greer sc
no... its a carp lake in Greer but it's called coles #2
Hey brother
What's up?
Buffalo fish is not a carp it's in the sucker family
I didn't know that...everyone here calls them carp ...thank you for letting me know...
@@WishingIWasFishing73 yeah I use to say the same thing until I was told a few years ago and I looked it up.They're actually native to North America.Still a great fish you caught.
So glad that you feel better now that you corrected his video title. It's about the feed, stop being a keyboard worrior tight ass
Does this bait break down in under 3 minutes sir ? Thanks great video
yes sir it does....works great on yellow and Buffalo carp...one of my favorite....also it's cheap to make
You threw away a great meal.
the carp or the grits....lolzz
We fish to win money, not for a meal. These fish all have to be returned to the lake unharmed. This is a contest pay lake.
