CE, thank you for taking the time to deal with camera, edits and upload so I could see how this was done. I hope I don't ever have to but John Deere wants a house payment to rebuild one of these and that is with me taking it to them. now I need to figure out the rebuild for the remotes on the back of my 4020. best 2U my friend...
Ooooo! I didn't realize that was a pressure-compensated pump. That explains some of what I was seeing on there. Great series of videos on this! Thanks for sharing!
Greetings from Romania! What brand of repair kit would you recommend for a JD 3040 pump? Would you recommend changing everything inside the pump? They don t have complete kits at the JD dealerships in Romania. In what situation you won t recommend rebuilding the pump, when there is play in the holes where the pistons go? I really need your help,i don t want to spend 600 USD for a repair kit if the pump is useless. Have you ever heard of Vapormatic repair kits ,are they any good? Thanks in advance for any advice !
Great video thanks brother. Looks great. He brought it to the right man you are great. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother
Looks like them special rings that cover the o rings seal against the housing to keep it from leaking maybe the o rings didnt seal them pumps good enough so they made them special plate gasket rings
3010 is what I'm replacing with this pump.
Thank you the video helped a lot
Thank you for all your videos and helpful information! I have an 820 and have a really difficult time finding literature for repairs on it.
