I mean, there are various Periods/Eras he could have spoke about but for an entire history of the country in 10 minutes? It's pretty good!
Halloー日本の千葉県より 🌸Justin&🌸staciさんへー日本の歴史を勉強してくれて ありがとう〜これからも日本をよろしくだよー日本に興味を持って頂きありがとう〜Bay、bay〜🌸より
An interesting tidbit of information is that the period of Shogun Tokugawa, who was mentioned briefly in the video, was the time period that the book and TV miniseries "Shogun" was based on. The book and show are a fictionalized account of real events that happened at that time, and the Tokugawa's name was changed to Toranaga. The British character Blackthorne who came to Japan on a Dutch ship, played by Richard Chamberlain, was also based on a real person. In fact, 28 characters in the book were based on real people.
it's "shogun". No one from the Tokugawa family was ever emperor.
I love that shirt Justin💯💯💯
Hello everybody happy new year
Happy New Year!
We had both US history and World History so got a high level overview of this info.
When I was in high school, I took both as well!!
high level in american education must mean good...
🔥 video keep it up and thank you for reacting to it 🙂🙂
I like these.....interesting and funny
Do the pokemon cypher 2019
Justin, if you like anime, try (or possibly react to) RWBY. Created by Monty Oum and put out by Rooster Teeth. It has the distinction of being the very first American anime imported by Japan!
If you do, start with the Red White Black and Yellow (R W B Y) trailers.
A word of caution though... the RWBY FNDM is massive and will wear out your subscribe button!
Um, Avatar: The Last Airbender is the first American anime
@@mitchellcomixofficial1238 That may be...but was it imported into Japan? Read my statement again.
@@mitchellcomixofficial1238 The Last Airbender isn't anime. Neither is RWBY.
Do ww2 oversimplified part 2 bruh....

Justin saying they don't teach other countries in their history class is not a shock to anyone outside of the United States 😆😆😆
I know right
Their history class sucks
i think you meant to say is schools don't teach us about other countries' point of view and their own history. We were taught that propaganda was something evil that 'bad' countries imposed on their people, but WE DO THE SAME AND ALWAYS HAVE,
@@iamdeathiamentropyiamdarks3517 really not giving most of the smartest ppl were born here but i guess
"Sexy times" LOL
Can you do the netherlands. Thanks🇳🇱🤝🇺🇸
All I want to add is that the US doesn't "suck" for dropping the bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. It was tragic that it had to happen but it DID have to happen. Japan was beaten but their government refused to surrender no matter how many overtures the US sent them. It was either the bombs or a land invasion of Japan which even the more conservative estimates say would have killed at least a million people (about 216,000 died from the two bombings) and other estimates stretch that number up into the multi millions (kind of depends on how hard you assume the Japanese citizenry would have fought back against the invasion).
My heart goes out to every individual person who suffered as a result of the bombings but the people who "suck" in this situation were the Japanese government and military leadership, who were boiling Chinese babies alive on the mainland, sneak attacked the US, then refused to surrender even when it was clear they were beaten.
Be careful my brother I think she's playing you, in a couple of videos she looked uninterested and bored, I know we think we know our partners until w find out otherwise
Your video was good but by the end of it your statements where pretty ignorant… something I should add is that a lot of the post economic miracle in Japan is because of the United States.
Absolute trash video to react to, but plenty fine reaction video regardless.
How dare you

@@zackoleson6766 Uh, for example, and rather important... the Japanese GOVERNMENT closed the country, believing they would be removed from power should ideas of democracy, western culture, or even Christianity were to influence the people. They were holding their people HOSTAGE from the rest of the world, all while European nations were sending missions to Japan, but because they had eyes on it as yet another colony/claim to take. That time was still the days of European colonization, and Japan was about the last thing left to take in the Pacific. This is what the US saw, why they forced them open, and what the Japanese government and people found were a bunch of European powers laying claim to everything and everyone around them. They moved to quickly and desperately modernize to save themselves. That said, the government was correct, and foreign ideologies did lead to their removal and total reform.
