- Tenor Joseph Calleja sings Granada by by Agustín Lara during Last Night of the Proms 2012 at the Royal Albert Hall. Jiří Bělohlávek conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
Calleja produces his high notes with he greatest of ease and with undiminished power, with passion and with a touch of soprano quality. And his joy to be able to sing like this is obvious.
One of the best tenor voices I've heard in all my life, bravo Joseph!

I just want to say that this tenor is at the moment, the greatest, and he has a very powerfull voice.

Absolutely agree, no one to touch his beautiful voice, so strong and effortless. I was brought up listening to all the great tenors and to my mind he beats them all, just wish my Father could have heard him.

Aunque tal vez fueran voces menos educadas las respectivas versiones con Jorge Negrete y Javier Solis tienen un sabor especial. (al menos para México al ser esta una canción mexicana)
