Your playing ability goes without saying, but the thing I appreciate about your videos of this nature, is that you play the solo as close as possible to the original recording, picking up on all the nuances yet also putting your own flavor in as well. Always look forward to new videos. Cheers.

DAMN Rocco ! I'm at a loss for words .... I've never thought of Lynch's solos as necessarily "melodic" but you made this one so ! Guessing these were the same IR's that you used for your V.H. tribute ?
Thank you so much Roger! I've always seen Lynch as a very melodic player actually, his note choice is always on point! Yep same G12M IR pack but a different IR from the VH video (specifically the G12M Greenbk 412 C SM57 Bright)

One thing I see nowadays since the tech is available, is the notes are all right but the fire and passion is missing.

No pedals! This is just the BE100 Deluxe going into the Suhr Reactive Load, all amp gain without boost/OD

Thanks dude! Honestly, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two in an A/B test, the Fractal nails the tone and feel of the amp. Having said that, there's still something special about having the real thing, tweaking knobs and smelling the tubes cooking😄It's also more straightforward to tweak than the Axe, which can be a huge thing depending on how you feel about menus etc

Can you show the amp settings you have for this sound
HBE channel with the gain at 7.5, bass and middle at 6, treble at 5, thump at 5 and presence at 4. Frequency and response switches to the right, voice in the middle. That's pretty much it!
What kind of pickups you rocking in that thing?

Awesome Rocco, one of my fave Lynch leads aswell. The 1# for me will always be the solo in "When heaven comes down" from the Tooth and Nail album, it just drips with emotion.

Great take! You capture Lynch''s phrasing and energy. Your sound is killer. It just shows there isn't a big secret to any of those great 80's guitar sounds. A strat with humbuckers and a hot-rodded Marshall style amp. There are not shortcuts to that. You can get close with pedals, modellers, etc.. but nothing beats the real thing.
