Can I beat Pokémon Violet with Hardcore Nuzlocke rules - using ONLY GRASS type pokemon? (No items, No overleveling, Set mode)
HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES:
1. Only one GRASS type Pokemon per area
2. If a Pokemon faints it must be boxed
3. I cannot overlevel beyond the Gym leaders ace
4. No items in battle (held items are okay)
5. No duplicate species can be caught
6. Must nickname Pokemon

This gen has had some of the most epic grass pokemon, in my opinion.

Scovillain is so underrated. Probably one of my favorite Pokémon of this gen

Dude Meowscarada flower trick. It's one of the most used Pokemon in competitive. Pretty sure waifu cat could carry this thing on it's own haha

Grass types on paper are fairly bad, but with a good secondary typing they can really hold their own!

but lets be honest floragato has the best signature move. Flowertrick is base 80 power, STAB, never misses, and always crits. Plus you can get double STAB + extra power with terastilazation equaling a 240 power.
I just realized I did the gyms and Star hideouts in the wrong order lol. That explains the struggles and me ending up battling Tulip with level 55+ Pokemon who barely listened lol.

Scovillain needs another evolution. It seems a sort of convergent evolution line of Deino-Zweilous-Hydreigon.

I didn't Nuzlocke it, but my Grass run was really fun after a rocky start. Toedscruel may not be competitively viable, but it's very, very good in-game once it's evolved, a very fast special sweeper. I came to love Scovillain, as well. Brambleghast is frustratingly limited, but the Rollout strategy is very funny. Meowscarada may be one of the most utterly broken starter final forms ever, despite being Grass type. It's just that good!
I couldn't really make Arboliva work, which I admit was a skill issue.
Arboliva is kinda slow, but has decent bulk and many ways to stay healthy. Not a bad option as a staller
Strength sap is really good on arboliva

I caught Toedscruel and Iron Leaves after I beat the game, so I went through the 3 paths and Area Zero with only 4 Grass Pokémon during my Violet Playthrough.
