Man of Le pera just made there bare bones seat in that grip material it would be perfect cause that’s all I’m looking for is the same bobber style seat i don’t want a kickflip two seater I just want a solo bobber seat that holds my ass in when you hit the power and corners the stock one is slippery as and I’ve tried saddlemen solo and thing ain’t it either was exactly the same as stock
Do you know of any seats that do what you originally wanted? Further back...? I feel like the stock seat has me pushed forward. Ideal I woukd want to be further back for best comfort for mids. Thanks
Does the underside of the seat do any damage to the back fender? I’m researching seats and have seen video of damage to rear fenders resulting from the Saddlemen (scratching, dents, chipped paint, etc.). Body damage is not acceptable to me, the La Pera seems like an A+ option but I’m wary of purchasing something that will ultimately damage the finishes...
I'll do a video removing it to check for damage. I don't believe there is because I take it off to wash the bike but there will always be rubbing on a 2up.
Hey Stevie, great review. I've ordered my 2020 Softail Standard, and wanted to know how tall you are. I'm 6' (183cm) and ordered my FXST with forward controls, anticipating the cramped feeling most reviewers report. ps : Subscribed !
I'm 5'10". Since I put the lepera seat on I'm sitting 2" taller and love the positioning. Never get cramps. Awesome control. Love the bike. Cheers man and thanks for the sub!
Hey sir! Thanks for the review. At a standstill, you mentioned 26 inches. Riding position is higher but at a stop is it lower than the standard seat? If so this might be the seat for me. thanks in advance!
Hi. Thanks for the review. I'm 5'3 and I don't mind being pulled forward a bit but I'm a bit weary of not being to reach the ground if it's higher up. Would you say the width is less than the stock seat so that it would still allow me to flat foot or will it definitely not work for me?
I've got a 2020 FXBB and the stock seat is great for short rides.. I did a 5 hour ride last summer and it killed me.. I was so numb and it was painful as hell I had to stop every hour... compared to stock how does the le pera kick flip compare for really long rides between stops in your opinion? can you ride without stopping for like 2+ hours cause that's kinda what i'm hoping for...
I can put on about 4 hours. That's with 14" bars trying to rip me off at high speeds too. Lol. But I am coming from a sportster so anything is a step up. I love this seat though.
Hey man. I am new to motorcycles recently I applied for financing and got approved to buy a Street Bob for a decent deal. Would you recommend this bike for a first bike?
Hard to say. Have you ever riden? Honestly its a big bike for a new rider. I love the bike. If you can do it. But take it slow. Make sure you understand it can kill you and will if you rush it. Put around the neighborhood and slowly vwnture out farther and i say ya
@@StevieTV253 I plan on taking a class and I completely respect its power and don't plan on hot doggin when I start out. I am a bigger guy 6'2" 270lbs and the Sportster 883 is to small for me so I wanted to step up and I absolutely love the bobber style. Thanks for responding back!!!
check out my more recent vids. went with 14" jack knife apes. they look and feel amazing. but the seat is perfect. actually want to film a 5k review on it. it fits the fame perfectly. i feel its a bit wider than the stock. but not much. still low profile but fits great. the first week i felt tall and it was stiff but now im sitting a bit lower again after the break in and its awesome.
Great video and love the seat ! Look forward to seeing what else you do now . Love the new outro 🖤
Thanks!
That seat looks awesome dude. Loved the opening scene and the outro music too!
Cheers dude.
Beautiful bike and great review. Just found you on Dirty Deez channel. 🤘🤘 Great stuff!
Thanks for the great video
I've counted 76 fuckin-s in this video.
Serious?

End credits are a little less harsh 👀😂
Overall, the seat seems to be working for you. 👍
Love it man. Especially after adjusting the shocks
whats the measurement of the driver seating area ? from the lumbar back support to the front of the seat ?
Did you need new cables for the 12 inch bars in the riser? I just picked up a 2020 Street Bob and I’m looking into risers and possibly new bars
12" you could get away without I believe. Gingybeard man has a video going to 12s. Mine are 14s so I had to change everything out.
Does the gap between the seat and tank bother you any? My kickflip doesn’t do that on my Softail. I do like the seat tho! I recommend it too.
i wish it rode up to the tank but i dont care. its comfy so thats all that matters.

Heh, I’m also 6ft.... got my streetbob in June, rode with standard pegs for a month then had forward controls fitted. The difference was superb !!!
@@erwin4501 Awesome ! Thanks to the two of you for your replies!
Hello, is this the kick flip up-front model or kick flip normal?

Yes it's a bit of a taller ride for sure.
Just to clarify, is the bike/seat lower at a standstill?

Kinda hard to say. All I know is it raised me completely about 1 inch. Other than that it felt the same width
@@StevieTV253 thank you! I guess an inch should be manageable. I ordered it let’s see!
How much taller than stock did u get dude

Did you end up buying the seat? Does it hurt your tailbone? The stock seat would kill my tail bone after an hour so I'm considering buying this one
I have a Mustang single seat on mine. No numb bum.
I was thinking of one of these for a Street Glide, I'm 5'5, what do you advise me?
It made my ride much more enjoyable. I'm 5'10 and it allowed my legs a little more room on my mid controls.
@@StevieTV253 Ride safe Thanks! ✌

@@moneycarsguns9837 Go for it. I did.
Just bought this morning and this makes me feel better. Only concern is it wide enough? By the way get the apes.

Had the sadlemen didn't like it got rid of it. I did not like the riding position
Interesting. I've grown to really like this. Makes the mids feel real nice.
