I'll try to revisit the archetype with Shimmering Skies. For now, I would probably add a couple of Scuttles. It is always difficult to trim and optimize. A lot of it comes from playtesting. :)
This deck looks super fun and I can't wait to try it out! Thanks for sharing! I love trying out decks that aren't meta because having combos go off is just so dang fun! 😂
Is this the type of deck that you would bring to a local event? Or do you prefer to stick with more competitive options when it comes to casual tournaments?
Brilliant idea, this is an awesome combo! It’s the kind of deck I’d bring to casual play at an lgs. Probably not for competitive play because it would get outraced by hyper aggro and pieces destroyed by control. But it’s interesting to see decks that go all out in one concept: all our items, all out locations, all out songs, etc
I wanted to try Bayou, but it turned out not being that useful. I think that you are right and Lanturn would be a good improvement. There is also a replacement for the 1-drop item too. Thanks for the recommendation!
They are both good options and either can be used to replace Bayou! Nick doesn't explicitly help with the combo, but having a stronger board presence would be great. I will never say no to more Pawpsicles ;).

and this is why ruby is added. without some type of board wipe threat nothing stops the other player to just rush lore and win
If you cut steel for amber you can play 4x lantern. Its an item that makes creatures cheaper. You just play 8 steel cards anyway.
