That is quite the challenge that you have there... sounds fun! It probably wouldn't be competitive, but I'll see what I can do. I'll add it to my list.
Kuzco-to-Kuzco is some really good value. Ursula is really nice and oppressive too (Actually, both 7-drops are solid). Mim dragon could bounce back the Hades to 'save it' which is a pretty cool idea.

The little Tala into big Tala via Hades feels like a really good combo to me. On t5 (maybe t4 if you decide to ramp) you get big Tala out, 1 ink (little Tala being banished), and 1 lore (big Tala triggering). It depends on if Hades survives a turn, but he's more than likely to survive at least once to pull it off if the cards align. But I guess that's the thing. You need to have 3 pieces relatively early to make it truly impactful. But... if it lands, not easy to deal with for sure. Like how you got the big Tamatoa out early some in your games.
I agree, it is pretty solid 'when it lands', but is pretty involved. If you haven't gotten Hades put by turn 4 or 5, he will likely be ink-fodder. Then again, maybe thay isn't a bad thing since the deck does have some longevity to it naturally.
I really like this new hades. I feel like we need a few cards like a cheap Maleficent in enameled or ruby to cheat out the dragon. Or a low cost goofy in steel to cheat out the 10/10 one
Agreed! I would love to be able to trade the amethyst 3-drop maleficent for the dragon, but apparently playing 3 colors is frowned upon XD. It is a mechanic that will ge stronger and stronger over time, and like you said, a cheap Ruby maleficent would be great to cheat out the dragon.
triggered abilities go into the bag. activated abilities dont so according to the rules when you activate hades and banish little tala her ability goes into the bag and the activated ability has to resolve first as it doesnt go into the bag so it resolves so big tala hits and then little talas ability resolves so you would gain the lore
I don't think that it will match up too well against top tier decks. Discard, in particular, would be a problem unless we land a Flaversham a keep a flow of cards going.
The number shown on the Tamatoas is the lore additions. So showing 4 means quest for 5
Good call! Thanks for mentioning it; I tend to forget that it has a base lore value.
This was a ton of fun to watch today! Well done!
Thanks! I'm glad that you enjoyed the video!
I would love to see your take on a deck using Triton Champion of Atlantica!

The ability states when Banished. so i think your correct. it should allow you to put gramma tala into the inkwell when you use it for Hades fodder
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the ruling.
I can see this being emerald/amethyst - banishing 2 drop kuzco to play big kuzco. Draw into ward. Ursulas of course & madam nim to dragon lol

Video came out just in time! Going to try the deck out at locals tonight!
Nice! How did it go?
The games where I had success were when hades hit on tamatoa. Played a lot of steel which made it difficult for hades to stick.
With pixelborn getting shut down, will you continue deck profiles? Would hate to lose your insight!
I intend on continuing to make profiles AND gameplay videos! I will be switching to tabletop gameplay. Thanks for the kind words of encouragement!
@@GeniusYoshi thank god! was hoping you would stick around!
@@GeniusYoshido you know if tabletop Simulator also has Lobbys to play with others or just people you know?
I don't know much about tabletop simulator. You could probably leverage the Pixelborn discord to find people to play against?

Good to know! Thanks for the detailed explanation; that makes a lot of sense.
Are you sure about this one? In magic it wouldn't work because sacrificing is part of the cost and therefore happens instantly
I would like to see how this play against emerald steel current stuff.

How is it vs Bucky floodborn discard?
I suspect that it doesn't fare too well against discard since you need a lot of ink and multiple cards to get the combo running.
