Harold's Unboxing Bowie video 8: 2022 in a nutshell part 1

Hi, I'm unboxing some bowie-related stuff every once in a while. You can react, but remember: everyone has their own taste. You don't have to agree that Ashes to Ashes is the absolute best track Bowie ever made, or Station to Station his ever best album.

I agree that the film "Moonage Daydream" left out many events in Bowie's career and that was shocking to me. However, I saw it in IMAX at the Sony theater near Lincoln Center. The huge screen and amazing sound system created an experience that was incredibly exhilarating. I was never fortunate enough to go to a Bowie concert, but I felt it might have been something like this. The audience was spellbound and stayed throughout the end credits. Part of me felt like I had just witnessed the opening of a time capsule with only bits and pieces of what an era long gone was like. The world and music are so different now I don't think anyone like Bowie will happen again. That makes me melancholy, but Bowie's catalog gives me that spark of creativity I often need. I think he would understand that and find it pleasing.

Soundwise, I totally agree! And also his art was a nice addition for me. Good to learn that you are now hookrd. There is a lot to discover. Enjoy the ride!
