Praise to your parents! As a fan I'm grateful they supported the dreams and passions you each had for music and going further by helping any way they could.
Those Supro short scale basses are awesome. It's a shame they stopped producing them when Bondo bought Supro, but I hope they will continue making basses once they have the guitar production line up and running again.
This is just so powerful. A great song all around, but the power of both the vocals and the music really blow me away. My 1st impression of SPEED OF LIGHT is wow!
I wish you could've seen the look on my face and felt the way I felt after hearing this song! It's like I forgot every one of my favorite songs and bands....no wait...it's like I discovered music for the first time. I'm not kidding...I take music very seriously. I'm 52. Thank you for making me feel 18 again.
I felt the same way yesterday when I first heard this band. 37 here. I instantly thought "Wow, I might be listening to my favorite band ever right now." So fucking good. The vocalist's delivery is otherworldly. Great lyrics, great riffs, great drums. I would never believe these song compositions were written by people so young. They have punk rock energy to a tee. Totally original...
Im 40yo and have the same feelings after discovery of this song. Love this style. It has strong 90's vibes. Hard music & rap combo. Todays music sucks. No matter if rap or rock :D
Something like grunge yeah, I was thinking a bit more late 90's early 00's hard rock sound like Bush, Breaking Benjamin, Rage Against the Machine and such, but yeah, something like that.
hopefully they go for their own hard rock sound as cliche as that may sound, grunge and punk are overplayed, burned tf out, they could implement elements of it to change it up a bit.
Hello !!! Je suis un punk des années 80 ! Je peux dire que ton groupe et toi vous avez un sacré punch ! BRAVO À VOUS !!! Continuez c'est un plaisir de vous écouter . J ADORE !!! BONNE CONTINUATION !!!!
I CANNOT believe alternative metal is getting a revival. This band is the future of the genre alongside Calva Louise from Europe . It.s INSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE how good you are!!!!
I saw this band open for Starcrawler last night in LA. They were so fucking awesome I had to come straight to UA-cam this morning and see again. I LOVE THIS BAND!
Even though they only have 5 songs out I’d be interested to see them live. I live in Australia though so not going to be seeing them anytime soon 😂😭. I really hope them success going forward, would love to hear more songs from them.
The lyrics of the song, for everyone who wants to read them: Don't force your story on me. Not gonna be who you want me to be. I may, fortunately. Don't put your boring on me. Rest in peace. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. I'm not your circus freak. Your covers make me sleep. Don't bury me in clichés. Don't put your narrative on me. Rest in peace. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. Don't want your smile. Gimme teeth. saw them open for Bad Religion a couple weeks ago, they had a relatively older crowd giving loud applause after every song in their set - that should tell you all you need to know. I looked up the band and saw that Riley the lead singer is only 16, damn she is already a great frontwoman for this band. The band had great energy and she even finished the last song by jumping into the crowd and running around in the pit which was so cool. These guys deserve so many more views!
16? That makes sense. The lyrical composition seemed a little, IDK, young? I didn't want to call it juvenile because of the more critical and possibly negative connotations that wording might hold. Sounding young isn't a negative thing at all and is, of course, appropriate if the artist is young. You wouldn't want someone that age trying to scream out deep philosophical verses about pain and loss they didn't write and can't relate to. The straightforward simplicity and rawness of youth/youth culture is one of the many factors that made punk rock explode into the musical consciousness like it did circa '74 to '76 in London and New York. It's actually really refreshing to hear something that does sound so youthful and not written by committee.
Same here, I saw them open for BR in Chico and was blown away both by how young they are and how much raw energy and talent they have. I feel like they are going places. 🔥
We'll be seeing this band in the arenas within 3 tears, guaranteed. They have the talent, the looks and the songs... and the timing is right within the industry. These kids are awesome.
No rock or metal bands today can tour arenas. The best they can muster is like a 3k theater. What's really sad is those huge festivals they have now are ALL headlined by 50 something year old rock guys. One had 100 bands over 4 nights. EVERY night the top 2 or 3 acts were bands 20 or so years past their prime. Kids don't like or go see rock anymore because it died quite some time ago. Facts.
The Rock era is no different than the swing or jazz eras. They all reflect a moment in time in the US. I may like certain songs from Starcrawler etc, but its all kinda just cosplay. I could have started a doo wap group in the 80s or 90s and could have looked it and sounded like it, but could I ever have been doo wap? Of course not. The world has pretty much turned upside down in the last 20 years culturally and these kids today just don't share the more organic way of life older generations did. Rock isn't a look or sound, it was a time period. @glencarson2635
I love that everyone is sharing how they relate with this song. I brokedown and went on a crazy downward spiral last year. I lost everything and im struggling starting over. I miss what was, am uncomfortable with what is, and feel so lonely sometimes. I dont know how i fit it in the new world i landed in. Vibes
Nice rhythm on the guitar. The tone is absolutely sweet. Those vocals are delivered very well. Feels like a gritty rock show delivered by a vocalist who performs beyond her years. The drummer absolutely crushes that groove with the rhythm guitar. Yeah, good recipe here guys. Sounds great!

What a cracking band ,found out about them from friend ,song kicks arse, shades of Ratm but who cares ,love them
"Your covers make me sleep" is one of the hardest and cleverest disses I've ever heard in a song.
perfection.
My favorite line from this band is "hear that crashing sky" on Kill the Vibe. Not as clever as this line but I just love it in the context of the song
