Luffys crew definitely needs to have one and it will be either against shanks crew or the cross guild
It’s not really an agenda , if you have any inkling of intelligence and are up too date with one piece you can pretty accurately predict there will be a Davy back fight between the straw hats and cross guild and Zoro will fight mihawk in the Combat segment, then u can piece things through from there , honestly the “ predictions “ we make as a community as just obvious plot points

Omg, it's so smart that Shanks, who had access to the Zou poneglyph fought Kidd (who I don't think is confirmed to have the information on that one), while Blackbeard actually fought Law, who was there on Zou as well.
The idea of Glass Croc is genuinely making me ascend.
I'd like robin to be the first to intercept Crocodile, both to play into her counter-espionage background and so those two could have a conversation again. I would expect Croc would try to convince her to rejoin his side to help with the poneglyphs and maybe she gets into a tough situation, that's when mr Prince could step in to save Robin in an inversion/callback to Wano and also Alabasta

It would be so fun to see Mr. 3 again being a giant threat to the Crew. He's still one of the scariest people the Straw Hats had to fight.
It's a great revenge scenario for Nami and potentially Vivi if she's back by this point!
I had a grin during the whole video, this was very well researched. It didn't occure to me how synergistic Mr.1, Mr.3 and Alvida's fruits could be together, and that conclusion between Mr. Prince and Crocodile would really be amazing. I imagine Crocodile would also be the one who made the strategy of stealing Zoro, and then instantly win the third round to get Nico Robin again.
As for the final interruption, I could see it go two ways : Either this is a Blackbeard sneak attack, like Shiryu cutting both Mihawk and Zoro mid-duel... Or someone like the God Knights who would wait for Buggy and Luffy combat in the hope they both get exhausted from it.

Unrelated, but I think Pudding is on Egghead, since we saw a Blackbeard ship there. She can literally just touch Vegapunk’s separated brain and get all of his information about the void history and poneglyphs. That would probably awaken her eye too

I've always had this scenario in my mind: Buggy needs to be stopped but his dorks are being human shields, and Usopp, in order to get a clear shot, activates conqueror's haki. This could totally happen during a Davy Back fight if Zoro and Luffy are engaged due to Luffy having lost Zoro.

Honestly I love LRLL and Davy Back Fight is such a fun concept. I would love to see it back in the story in a relatively lighthearted way with Cross Guild.

The Cross Guild is definitely my favorite One Piece faction as well Randy. The Revolutionary Army used to hold that position for me but they are still my second favorite faction.

it makes some level of sense, but im still insisting that a Blackbeard davy back fight makes the most sense. Or, somehow, like Mihawk teased with the "You want us to fight them all at once?" comment, a 4 way davy back between all current yonko crews.
I think we're just going to have a battle with Blackbeard straight up. We'd only need to Davy Back him if he loses Pudding because her third eye is definitely opening

Considering the davy back fight is objectively the best arc in the series (and yes i mean the anime) i'd be all for another one. Funimation dub absolutely kills it in this arc especially ussop during the whole afro luffy bit.
I can just picture ussop and nami arguing during the groggy ring while they're losing, only to get serious at the end and rehash the "lets work together for 10 seconds" line between sanji and mosshead, before proceeding to win. Would be badass, comedic and nostalgic.
And somehow you got to get foxy in there as a referee lol.

Vivi is a great crew member to fight for: Cross Guild steals her from Wapol and News Morgan, but Luffy challenges them to a Davy Back Fight. CG says no but Luffy manages to hurt Buggy's ego, so he accepts it. Since Buggy is publicly the leader of CG, Crocodile and Mihawk have to reluctantly accept the challenge.
Been looking forward to this video!! Reintroducing Davy Back Fights with the Cross Guild is the perfect way for all the Strawhats to get their moments along with adding in that pre time skip Oda humor

Love the video! But if you go back to Oden's flashback... shanks was there when the roger pirates figured out the location of the final island. Shanks may not need the rubbings.
I think people also forget that Buggy and Crocodile saved Luffy at Marineford. He might feel like they're all good now or even owes them for getting him back to the crew. He might just give Buggy copies of the poneglyph rubbings. It would feel like Luffy and in line with how trusting he was of Law in Punk Hazard. Also frustrating Buggy amd Croc by just being nice to them.
Definitely didn't forget, but I'd love if at the end of everything Buggy does something to piss Luffy off and he just says, "You know, I'd have just given them to you if you asked." Making Buggy feel ashamed and embarrassed.

Here's an idea, imagine if Cross Guild stole either Zoro or Sanji, and they got matched up into a battle with eachother! It would be super cool, I imagine it would end in a draw, maybe through fighting eachother they both unlock their strongest powerups.

I think the Cross Guild DBF is the most interesting. Especially the most interesting way to get Mihawk vs Zoro. My only major unknown is when in the story would be the best point to have it. I dont know if Elbaf is going to be the Arc for it, because there is already so much to juggle. Maybe post Elbaf on like Loadstar or some other island that we didnt even think about

PS! Sanji turning Croco-boy into glass to defeat Croco.. I'll do you better: Sanji turns him into glass, and then Croco realises that this is the true potential of his devil fruit, and he'll become a glass man instead.
Yep! That's why I managed the Glassman aspect of Marvel's Sandman, I was hinting at the ultimate potential and even said he could use the Glass as an advantage in the fight either way, NEED it

I think that of all the Straw Hats the arguably most fun matchup for Buggy would be Usopp.
Both have renown beyond their capabilities, and neither knows the other's reputation is largely overblown, so seeing them fight each other while being scared shitless of their opponent's capabilities would be priceless.
Plus, beating an Emperor (just the one that's excessively easy to beat) would be a very "Usopp" claim to fame that would skyrocket his bounty to the top for the story's homestretch, and would fit my agenda of Zoro, Sanji, Usopp and Nami all being seen as powerhouses in their own right by the end of the story, since I feel they all are the "natural leaders" of the crew in their own ways.
Finally a Davy back fight that makes sense , straw hats WILL NOT fight the red hair pirates

But I'm inclined to believe in a three way Davy Back fight ( I don't really know how that would work,though). Shanks, Buggy and Luffy. If Buggy somehow wins Shanks and we would get a Shanks and Buggy vs. Luffy that would be hilarious. And Luffy would have proven himself a great pirate. Luffy's prize would be that he would choose keep Shanks' strawhat. Forcing Shanks and Buggy to stay as a team. :)

This was super fun. I hope we see another one of these. and i love how with zoro v mihawk, its implied that every strawhat would need to accomplish their dream b4 Luffy, and their fight would do that. I just think that Oda may cut this or reorganize it in a way that saves time. Which would be sad.

I just love the idea of a scenario where it's down to an all of nothing final round. The crossguild has one or maybe two rubbings and maybe even some crewmembers have been swapped around. Like at this point of the story I'm hoping Bon clay has joined the crossguild so it would make sense if Luffy chooses to take Bon clay instead of taking back one of the rubbings. So both parties agree to a final all or nothingduel where the winner decides what they want from the other crew. And of course the crossguild choses Mihawk. And this would lead to a really good strawhat scene where they all collectively chose Zoro to fight. Even the strawhats who could have been taken by the crossguild trust Zoro to win. Even just a nice moment between Sanji and Zoro where Sanji shows his brotherly love towards Zoro. It would show just how far the strawhats have come as a crew that they are willing to risk everything they have worked for just for one crewmembers dream.
