- Los Angeles Magazine presents a debate between the leading candidates for L.A. County District Attorney.
DA George Gascon faces 9 of his challengers in Downtown Los Angeles.
The debate is co-moderated by FOX 11's Elex Michaelson and L.A. Magazine's Jon Regardie.
Hatami for DA is a win for LA
I am with you on this. Jon hatami won't let crime go easy, unlike Gascon, We've done it with the sheriff we can do the DA too
I'm an independent and I totally agree
I am stuck between him and Cherminsky
@@MacchiatoSwirlGirl well I do hope Jeff gets in 1st or 2nd place to advance and just kick Gascon out of the top 2 DA
@@MacchiatoSwirlGirl Jeff Chemerinsky is another George Soros funded candidate. Soros did not fund Gascon for this election and got behind Jeff Chemerinsky. I can tell you the Deputy District Attorneys are very worried about Jeff Chemerinsky and think he could be worse than Gascon.
Gascon needs to go please, LA is not safe anymore
UNFORTUNATELY WHAT I READ IS WITH SO MANY RUNNING, GASCÓN IS THE INCUMBENT SO HE WOULD PROBABLY WIN, OR BE THE ONE IN A RUNOFF.
There is no question that Gascon needs to be voted out. Even the San Francisco mayor, London Breed (as woke and progressive as she is), warned Angelenos not to vote for George Gascon as District Attorney. He's never prosecuted a case and he doesn't think prisons and jails solve anything.
Jail and prisons don't solve anything.
Well they don't in misdemeanors and petty crime, but he hasn't put a plan for what to do with them. He talks about public service and hiring mental health professionals. How does that work now with Prop 1 on the ballot? Is those things included in treatment programs?
@@MacchiatoSwirlGirl He hasn't put out a plan yet because he doesn't have one, period!. There's a petition going on right now that seeks to reform Prop. 47 which Gascon himself co-authored. It's a measure that reduced some drug and theft felonies to misdemeanors. Even Woke Democrat Mayors London Breed and Matt Mahan of San Jose have vigorously supported this petition drive to fix Prop. 47.
Unfortunately, he should have never been elected to begin with. It should have been a huge red flag when he was ousted in San Francisco!

Thank you for that💙
It's obvious George Gascon is living in a bubble because his lenient policies have ruined Los Angeles county. We the people need to vote him out.
Loved this. Thank you for posting this.
I also think we have to look at who will hite fairly to work with them. Hispanic leadership has tendency to only hire their own
JOHN MCKINNEY!! 👏👏
John McKinney should be the next District Attorney. He is the most qualified and received overwhelming support from his peers in the DA's Office!!
🚩 You don't get it ...they feel entitled to receive receive & receive for Free! Stop being blind! 🚩
No for hatami
Most of these DAs prosecute on trumped up charges and coerce defendant to plead to charges that intern destroys their chances at employment and causes homelessness.
not much of a debate when everyone just repeats the same answers dammit
I wonder why Dan Kapelovitz was not at the debate
I had no idea you had your own channel. Elex and Devine are my favorite Fox News reporters.
👨⚖️ Drug trafficking fentanyl equals a three day Gelsons? Hell, I heard you can make some really good money doing that trafficking. so where do I sign up if I know I’m gonna have a great reward and only three days in jail IF I get caught?
(3) top contenders in my opinion are # 1 Hatami, # 2 Hochman and in 3rd Place Archuleta, Gascon has no business as District Attorney, his policies have seriously hurt Southern California in the worst possible ways.
Great anecdote : Milton Wilson is the “CAT” in that funny video when he was talking to a judge and couldn't get rid of the filter “I'm not a cat” … “We know that” ua-cam.com/video/lGOofzZOyl8/v-deo.htmlsi=EO9G8xRczvsJ1qVT
I'm stuck between Hatami, Siddal, and Hochman. Thoughts?
Hatami for sure!!! Endorsed by 20+ police officers associations, 3 DAs, and over 70 elected officials by both parties.
He is the only one out of those you named with a human story-look it up-he was a victim and truly understands child and victims rights. He will fight for us.❤
Wife is a detective, thats probably why there is so much support from law enforcement but will also be very bias
BEWARE WHAT THEY HAVE IN MIND FOR THE HOMELESS!
💗 Great job LA Magazine! 💗 #HairByMikalaSky
I'm torn between Hatami, Hochman, and Siddall. Any one of those would be a huge improvement over Gascon! We need a DA that prosecutes crimes to make LA safer.
Please vote Hatami.
He is the only one with a story and with a purpose in this race. He wants to help victims and children, and is supported by most prominent victims families in LA.
Gascon do talk to the people in the office, he scheduled lunch meetings so that all staff,, secretary staff all the way up the DA's. Gascon travel to all the office throughout the county as well. When the DA in the AV learn of gascon visit, they all keft the office.. DA like hatami don't want to meet with gascon, but they have the opportunity yo do so . Its a no for Ramirez, she probably hire all her people to work for her..
🚩 Maria Ramirez, so you are saying, "your parents entered our country illegally?" 🚩
Hatami for sure!!! Endorsed by 20+ police officers associations, 3 DAs, and over 70 elected officials by both parties.

Nathan Hochman
Favorite movie?
🚩 Why are so many candidates sharing pity pot stories! 🚩
Which one of you are going to actually HOLD THIEVES, MURDERERS AND DRUG ADDICTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS?! STOP LETTING PEOPLE RIP OFF BUSINESS' AND GET AWAY WITH IT!
Drug addicts need help not necessarily incarceration.
All answer same rhetoric- WHATS THE PLAN TO MAKE DIFFERENCE??!! Cannot repeal voter Prop 47!
