Did none of them see the Holdovers??? it's a lovely slice of life story from Alexander Payne. Simple, humble, and elegant reminder that everyone we encounter is fighting their own battles, and that we rarely know what they are. I found it to be a gentle ode to compassion. Stunning cast - especially the three leads played by Paul Giamatti, Dominic Sessa, Da'Vine Joy Randolph - that put on some of the greatest, most subtle performances of the year. Written and directed with equally quaint wisdom and grace, all wrapped up in the stylized trappings of a 70s drama. Highly recommend.
Voter in the 30th here so happy to have this resource to help me determine who I vote for tomorrow! Thank you! Also, generally impressed by the caliber of candidates. Not all are ready for the national stage, IMO, and some don't quite speak to my issues, but it's an impressive field. I'm pretty torn and still only halfway through.
I'm not even from California and will likely never be a California voter. I'm just watching to appreciate what a real, civil debate looks like, not the bullshit we see on TV.
Same here! Although I was born in California I no longer live there! Wow! I'm impressed with the first minute!
Most of them are pretty much the same shade of blue. Dunwoody disappointed me with his evasiveness. And career politicians like Portantino and Friedman while may seem good on camera will quickly fall in line when pressured. The rest seem okay minus Balekian; I do agree with him on some points but he’s a republican and ultimately will side with the right every time.
I like Feuer but I cannot support anyone who is of retirement age. So my top two choices are Ratevosian and Arreaga. Only a couple days left till election so I gotta pick fast.
They all kinda match! And they seem so civil!
My opinion doesn't matter because I don't live in California. I'm grateful for that. I'm trying to get my mother out of California. Just listening to their opening statement, only one I would vote for, for change in California, and that's the 2nd person that spoke.
All your views in solving is to increase government funding for everyone which is a socialist viewpoint…. Where do you get those funds? It goes back to consumer again…. You blame the business constructor for housing, you blame the tax cut…. But never the policies you have created that cause all these problems. No more too much government regulation…. Stop legislating that hinder progress.
Im here in Missouri! Chiefs are my team! I like the gun safety!

Laura Friedman's staff is not responsive, doesn't return phone calls. Disappointing. Why support someone who's staff won't work for us?
Holy crap! Pro choice Repub!
