Once you know what you're doing it's all muscle memory. This is good for low level players but means nothing without real game experience. Daniel in the karate kid tried to learn how to fight from a book and got whipped.

Pro: “ok I want to play the following 5 shots like this to keep cue ball position all the way”
Me: ok I’ve potted the 3 ball... right where’s the 4 ball?

These two professionals are helping people to improve their games. They are giving invaluable advice. This isn't seen very often at least in my experience. So glad I clicked on this. Thanks! And by the way anytime I see either of these players compete I will be rooting for them over their opponents now. Selflessly giving back to those who are trying to improve goes a long way to making me a fan of that person.

Also keep thinking about the game, if you see something that a pro is doing , it may not work in another situation just because you have a slightly different angle.
Like the position from Ball 3 to 4, i think mostly you should go over 2 cushions to get position on the 4, that way it is less likely to end up with a bad position on the 4 ball.
