Once you know what you're doing it's all muscle memory. This is good for low level players but means nothing without real game experience. Daniel in the karate kid tried to learn how to fight from a book and got whipped.
Pro: “ok I want to play the following 5 shots like this to keep cue ball position all the way” Me: ok I’ve potted the 3 ball... right where’s the 4 ball?
These two professionals are helping people to improve their games. They are giving invaluable advice. This isn't seen very often at least in my experience. So glad I clicked on this. Thanks! And by the way anytime I see either of these players compete I will be rooting for them over their opponents now. Selflessly giving back to those who are trying to improve goes a long way to making me a fan of that person.
Also keep thinking about the game, if you see something that a pro is doing , it may not work in another situation just because you have a slightly different angle. Like the position from Ball 3 to 4, i think mostly you should go over 2 cushions to get position on the 4, that way it is less likely to end up with a bad position on the 4 ball.
Lots of pros will play you races to 3-5 for $100. They'll explain a few things in the sessions. You can also hire a BCA instructor for about $300-$800 for a whole day
justin herron how ridiculous. Id rather take myself to the pool hall and learn the hard way lol. Im sure you can learn a thing or two from those lesson but im good. The expense of the lesson is almost worth a cue lol
This is the exact thing i think its most valuable to heard pros saying for me to learn, would be a dream to see efren sayng the effects and things in his mind when he plays
Right? I've always wanted to know the thought process and the intentions of professional players. Blows my mind, I wish I had 50 more videos like this to watch.
Its nothing new some ppl hold their cue far back like skyler woodward and some players like jayson shawn use extension back of their cue and myself prefer that way too even tho i dont hold it all the way back but thats how i feel most comfortable playing with long ass cue. Its just how u prefer it rly doesnt make any difference just what works on you
U casuals always bring up efren its start to get funny😂 efren was great player but there is tons of other great players like ralf and efren was not that great 9 ball player only cause of his weak break
@@rayrauk9547 No. That's either battery or signal interruption on the mic. Why would they censor him saying that ideally he'd like to be straight on a ball. He clearly isn't cussing. Also, that's exactly what a mic sounds like when it's losing signal/power.
Lol u act like some pool hot shot with your profile pic but can you tell me how u was gonna get position on that 4 after shooting that 3 lol? It was pretty much impossible due the position on 3 and very low % shot and if u play that route with 2 cushion possibility of scratch becomes enourmous so what u talkin?

Ralph Souquet is my favorite player to watch. His mechanics are impeccable. I recommend watching some of his matches.
I could watch stuff like this all day long
Is that why you used 10 filters for your profile haha
Damn you must be ugly
Great video shame about the mic!
@andrew where? What part of the video?
Imagine getting personal lesson from this gentleman Ralf Souquet. That would be awesome and a pleasure
Yes, but expensive i guess :D
Ranjid008 im sure they are lol. Thats a given

Ralf's playing cue is beautiful.
Awesome video, always wanted something like this. Learned a lot.

What a great idea for video tutorials!
👏👏👏
what about inside the mind of efren bata reyes who can guess?
Lol
'I did practice so I get more lucky'
"When I'm on table, I think of music and don't even look at balls. Just stroke, boom, win."
Amazing video. I learned lots of useful things.
Good video thanks Soquet and Eckert.
Excellent video. Love to hear the thought process of the pros. I have very similar thoughts. But I can’t make a goddanm ball
Beautiful pool and explanations.
This is great! But the audio is not quite good
for a minute there I thought the bald gentleman was profusely swearing during his explanations, and that you had to mute out his profanity!
You thought wrong :))
Why, are you a pussy?
I wish there was more of this
Cool vid but you seem to have plugged in a potato instead of a microphone when recording it.
What is the name of the numbering tape between the diamonds? Where can purchase it?
Eric Danielson It's called Kamui diamond slicer
how much ft on this table ?
Is there a reason why the man with the Germany shirt holds the cue from the far back when he hits?

Whats the diameter of the table?
damn that guy is huge 1:34
I think he has snow on the top of his head
No doubt! It would suck always being the first person getting rained on during a storm.
very interesting....thanks..
What's the name of the song used for background?
surprising how often he didn't get shape.
Great video!
So useful
The German accent on the first guy
Both guys are german, but the first guy speaks a strange german dialekt, which he also uses as accent in english.
great explaining
Hes got the 6 and last 4, he cant play rotation.
The audio is clipping. Unwatchable.
5 mins in and people got tired of Souquet talking 🤣
sorry but earl strickland is much more likeable than ralf soubuet
Awesome
I fell asleep.
Hahaha
Do you know efren reyes?
Efren is legend, however Souquet has a big advantage vs him in h2h

Awesome content, but you can't post it with those mic problems. This is one that should have been cut despite being good footage. Audio matters.
audio is perfect for me (with headphones)

Worst positioning I've ever seen him play. Distracted I guess.
Cooool
Anyone else shouting at the screen (just play the fooking shot ) ???
