This song is actually not dedicated to the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879, more so, dedicated to the Peninsular war, which lasted from 1808-1814, and also a bit of the British military presence in Belgium during the Napoleonic wars, as the song refers to multiple times. (Through Flanders, Portugal, and Spain). Though this version is a banger, I heavily recommend listening to the version made by "John Tams". Also im pretty sure this is not the first ever version of this song, as I can vaguely remember that this song can be traced to a different version in 1707.
