🚂 Taking the open-air carriage of the Sagano Romantic Train in Kyoto, Japan! 嵯峨野トロッコ列車

Welcome to the Kansai region of Japan! I was on a Kyoto and Osaka trip from 2024/06/16 to 06/23 and filmed a lot of railways. From Arashiyama in Kyoto, you can take the Sagano Romantic Train via the old JR Sagano Line non-electrified and single-track section. A single journey will take 25 minutes and cost 880 JPY. The train departs from Saga Station once every hour from 10:00 to 17:00. The Sagano Line's old track was replaced by a new double-track section in 1989 to electrify the line and increase throughput. Then the old track was converted into the Sagano Romantic Train in 1991, which has now become one of Japan's most well-known sightseeing train tours.
歡迎來到日本關西！我在2024年6月16日至23日在京都和大阪旅遊，途中拍攝不少鐵路片段。在京都的嵐山可以乘坐嵐山小火車（嵯峨野觀光鐵路）遊覽JR嵯峨野線非電化和單線行車的舊線，單程為25分鐘，車費為880日元，於10-17時每1小時開一班車。嵯峨野線舊線於1989年被新的電氣化雙線新線取代，並在1991年變成現時的觀光火車，成為日本其中一條著名的觀光火車線。
