- As we continue the series in the long anticipation for the 40th anniversary of Wrestlemania, up next is Wrestlemania 2000; the 16th Wrestlemania. It took place on April 2nd, 2000 at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim infront of 19,776 fans. It had a record pay-per-view buy at the time of 824,000 and all this without Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker competing.
The main event was Triple H defending the WWF title against the Rock, Big Show, and Mick Foley in a fatal-4-way that had all four McMahon family members at odds. Unfortunately the event was somewhat lackluster so we present something different.

So many problems. One, Bret Hart was under contract for WCW and was dealing with his concussions at the hands of Goldberg back in December '99. Second, Austin wasnt at this Wrestlemania either. Third, if your card only has 3 matches, that's not a great card.
