Guangdong Airport is huge. Because there were so many planes in 2018 when I was there, planes were parked miles away. We was on a transit bus for almost 15 minutes from gate to airplane. As many Chinese respect elderly persons, a young couple got up and gave us their seats. We greatly appreciated their kindness and consideration. Goodluck to you and your family in this new city. I live in Texas. What you said is very true. I visited China in 2018 Enron my son graduated from High school. Family of 6 spent one month in Shanghai, Beijing, and Xian area. We got tour at each area to save money for hotel and food, we travel in bullet train among the three area. Huge difference from the China I left 30 years ago. It was pretty nice in Shenzhen when I left in 1991.

I do travel alone a lot. And Ivan’s responsibilities at home are all handled by me. From food to his sleep. I can only edit when he sleeps most of the time. I think it is easy to get frustrated in situations like these but I try to take everything positively and to find joy in doing those things

There are many tour attractions near Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wixi, Suzhou, NanJing, ZhouZhuan.... About 2-3hrs away from Shanghai by high speed train which are the best choice for those distance travel.

I live in the US now, and I travel back to China once a year. Every time I went, something had changed.. I felt like I was living under a rock.

The point he is making is that China and Pak are not that bad either. They must be at fault too but the reason for all the problems in India couldn’t be just pak and China. Media doesn’t talk badly about India here. I see the news. If they want they can.. but strangely enough , you won’t find propaganda posters anywhere in China. There are no Xi jin Ping posters on the road either. There is more work less talk. Can’t say the same for Indian govt. current or previous. And btw criticizing Indian govt is not same as criticizing India. If the govt wanted, it could have raised India above poverty and provided jobs but they are always interested in holding on to their power and did only a a fraction of what it could have done.
Look at America, the beacon of democracy who had been invading and destroying other countries to forcefully implement democracy..how democratic it is right now itself. Maybe the propaganda is also anti-China. And maybe it is not so bad here

About 2-3hrs away from Shanghai by high speed train which are the best choice for those distance travel.
