Not too sure honestly. We might see some more changes to option packages or colors but it might be 2022 before we see a face lift but I haven't heard much yet.
@@JustinKelly wouldn't turbo cars have more problems along the line? I'm researching about cars lately bec I need to get one, and Kona is one of my top choices. Anyway, I read that turbo cars have more issues since the engine is more complicated than the regular one. Speed is a factor that people buy turbo, but I'm into more practicality and not really into speed at all. I'm thinking of SEL Plus since it has the premium speaker sound that I'm looking for.
I am unsure about reliability on both vehicles but I can speak more of the Kona in terms of reliability. They are two different sizes of vehicles which may impact your decision too as the Rogue is larger.
@@JustinKelly I see. The only issue is the Nissan had a cvt transmission failure already and is getting fixed. there’s a Kona available so I’m unsure what to choose.
2.0 is near the 1.6 turbo range, same motor as in my Elantra gt and my old 14 veloster turbo. 28/32 I've gone as low as 23 running sport mode with A/C on. Or 35mpg non sport no A/C on
Justin you seem to know a lot about the cars in your channel so I was hoping you could answer a question I have about the 2020 Kona. I read that wireless charging which previously had been available only in the Ultimate trim was now being "moved down" to the SEL plus trim. Do you know if that means the limited trim will also get wireless charging or is it available only on the ultimate and SEL plus? Thanks.
@@luizasouza5313 Hyundai has posted the specs of the 2020 model on their website and in the US at least the SEL plus and Limited trim get wireless charging for 2020. The only thing to keep in mind is this is not "fast" charging which is just coming out now. It charges pretty slowly.
Justin Kelly Ty I am already ordered them ! I not adding anything else the manger said he wouldn’t add these rain guards my sister tried get me to nope ! ☺️
I have a question they quoted me 60 some dollars for the flaps and $60 insulation they failed to tell me about that is that a good deal 120 some dollars for the mudflaps because I’m a woman and I don’t know how to do it thank you and I appreciate all your help ☺️
@@sherrid5315 I believe anyone can install these yourself as long as they are the same as most other Hyundai OEM flaps. If so it is literally only three screws to put on.
dh3758 Never get another Ford again Ever nothing but issues 2012 focus junk dual clutch junk sorry my opinion! Kept me found in the road dead constantly!
If it was my choice I would be choosing an Elantra GT. The only real benefit of the Kona is the added ride height. The Elantra GT believe it or not has more interior cargo capacity and rear leg room. The Kona also has the benefit of an AWD option which is also a big difference considering some people do need AWD for the area in which they drive. Because I am a more performance oriented person I would take the Elantra GT N Line over a Kona any day but both are very solid choices.
No this is one step up from base. SCC is all new for 2020 on the Kona and considering what segment the Kona is in I wouldnt expect it to be standard. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist and Driver Attention Warning, and Blind-Spot and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning is all found on the vehicle in the video.
Sherry D.. commented below. Mud flaps make you look more sporty. Mud flaps on a chick is wicked gross 👻. Wouldn’t take a rain check with a chick with mud flaps 😂
Just got the Kona SEL Plus AWD Surf Blue, in Dec. I couldn't be happier!
Im glad to hear! That is a great color.
What's your mpg like?
mine was red SEL trim
Just got mine! Kona 2020 Ultimate with 25 miles on it! I'm loving it so far!!
i purchased hyundai kona SEL trim in red colour last 6/1/2020. Love it. Stunning
Wondering if I should get this or the Tucson
A refresh Kona and all new Tucson are right around the corner. Might be worth waiting.
Justin Kelly my lease is up in February but I’m brining the car in end of December, beginning of January to see what 2021 car I can get
im not sure if i should get this kona or the 2021 Kia seltos
The Seltos will be slightly larger for sure. If you need Cargo room, I would say Seltos. If dont need the extra space then this is likely ok.
Just recently got one pre owned with 54,000 miles on it. Hopefully it will last me for a long time. I love the body style and the color black.
Very cool!
Any update?
I got my 2020 Hyundai kona Ultimate. I love my car a lot.
Great to hear!
Are we expecting a refresh for 2021?
Not too sure honestly. We might see some more changes to option packages or colors but it might be 2022 before we see a face lift but I haven't heard much yet.
Does it come with a spare tire or a pony?
I really like the aggressive looking suv or crossovers
We are getting one of these when our 2008 Sonata with 205,000 miles finally dies but will probably get the limited for the turbo engine.
Smart choice! I would get the 1.6T also 😀
congrats, ive got an 07 and just hit 235k miles. I am looking real hard at the Kona as my next car.

The SEL does come with Blind Spot Collision Warning
Sure does!
It comes with front collision assistance as well
Should I get the kona or the 2020 Nissan Rogue? maintenance and reliability wise.

Great first car or as a second car.
got mine yesterday! it's the best
Congrats!
How do you set the car alarm ?
Only 30mpg?? Seems a bit too high for Hyundai. Like the car and thinking of getting one, but seems that the engine is not too economic

Does it come with sun roof ?
Sam Ghannam I just bought an SEL + with a sun roof, so yes.
Can someone tell the cargo dimensions (not volume but L &W) when backseats are folded down?
Looking at that sticker I see a quick way to knock the price down over 400 dollars.
My salesman said mud flaps make it look more sporty hmm 🤔 does it ?
That us up to you. I think they are functional and worthwhile for the cost.

Guna take me a few years but this seems like the car I want. I don't have a credit history. Sooo guna suck for a bit.
Get a credit card and make small payments monthly as that will help a ton!
yep yep!
I want to see this car at night are the im trying to get my first car and I’m torn between the Honda CR-V and the Hyundai
Hey what did you get
Im between the Kona vs Ford Ecosport I cant decide
The Kona just looks so much better 😊

I don't know which one to get Kona 2020 or hyundai venue 2020 or FIAT® 500L D-: need help
The Venue will be smaller than the already small Kona. Out of those three I would choose Kona with the 1.6T for sure.
Do yourself a favor and knock the fiat off the list 😂

Im Sure they will mess with the look of it and screw it up.
No smart cruise control and Blind spot warning on that trim? That should be starndard!

No climate vent for rear seat, don't like that, but not much room anyway, who is going to sit there, kids maybe
I love it
....Chris Evans?!!
Is anybody complaining about the cladding on this vehicle like they complained about the Cx 30. Mazda looks classier

spend more get a honda crv.
CRV is an amazing vehicle. Only downside is the CVT engine. Kona does NOT have CVT engine.
what. i didnt know kona also has gas engine haha
They are primarily gas with a 2.0 or 1.6T engine. The Kona EV is only sold in select states.
🥰😉😘
Fuck this car is worth 35 grand in vietnam
It’s really not good. No cool air at behind seats
My furrkids won't mind
We have dogs, we just blast it to them from the front, it gets plenty cool in the back.
I sit in the front who cares 😁
You sure love saying "We do have a....." before talking about every feature.
The Engine is made in China... no Thanks, the Toyota CHR is 100% Made in Japan
Your so handsome.
You sound soooo bored... out of your mind! Don't blame you... that was a boooooring car!
Kona is not boring car at all if you drive one. But I do know that Toyota is boring.
No stick shift who cares
Hyundai's interior looks and feels like plastic lol
